I tried several smaller vets over last 16 years and was never fully satisfied. 4 years ago I tried Northside and was very happy. They halted me through the last several years of my 16 year old dogs life. They removed masses, provided extra care, never rushed appointments, and always made sure I was OK with the treatments before I efy the office. Staff was friendly and underatanding. On the day my dog couldnt hang on any longer and we decided to let him go, out usual Dr was out of town, Dr. Ladd. Dr. Place was there. They are both wonderful. They helped comfort my 12 year of daughter who was best friends with our dog. It was her first time with death and loss. They helped her understand and gave her "special" items and attention to ease the day. My cat, sadly is nearly 17 and experiencing some problems. I know MY best friend is in good hands. They helped give us 2 extra years with our dog, kept him happy and comfortable until the end. And I know they will work hard for us again with my cat. I would recommend Dr. Ladd and Dr. Place to anyone. They call from check up multiple times to be sure you and pet are doing ok.

Horrible very overpriced,staff is rude and make you do and get things that are not necessary do yourself the favor and find a local vet thats not nationwide. Also dont take the time to teach you and explain everything very rushed and leave you there with questions not answered. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU TAKE NO PETS THERE THEY SHOW NO COMPASSION FOR ANYONE

VCA Northside is complete with wonderful, caring and compationate individuals. They truly go the extra mile. If you want your furbabies in good hands VCA Northside is a great choice. Over the years they have helped my tempermental Akita and now our new blind kitten through A LOT of difficult times and their love and concern has never waivered.

Dr. Land was AMAZING!! A "natural" in that she is an obvious animal lover and has such a fun personality that immediately set the tone for a personalized visit. She took the time to explain, demonstrate, and even chat about my questions. Suddenly, for a vet. appointment, twenty minutes away doesnt seem too far to drive anymore.

Just met Dr. Place today and she was so great with my Rhodesian Ridgeback! She answered my long list of questions 1 at a time and was very thorough. Most importantly, she knew how to handle my dog and got him to trust her by being gentle and patient. I will definitely be bringing my dog back to this vet! A+

Had an emergency and had to have my kitty euthanized and came here instead of my usual vet. The atmosphere was very comforting and cozy. The vet who Euthanized my cat was nice and professional also but I was shocked at the cost. Very overpriced compared to Pleasant Valley where I usually go.

We had to put our precious cat to sleep here. The vet was informative and kind. She was in tears right along with us. She sent a card personally written by her offering her condolences. Perhaps she does this for everyone, but it meant a lot to us either way.
