First and foremost, if you are good at your craft then your work speaks for itself, in any profession. You can find great Doctors, Mechanics, Contractors, etc . and you would never steer away from them because when you need it - they are worth their weight in GOLD. Ive been a competitive athlete for the last 17 years competing at the Elite level in T&F and Strongman and believe me when the saying, " Its not the year of the car, but the mileage on the engine" My wrap sheet consists of chronic low back pain secondary to two buldging discs and consistent erector strains from my sport. Chronic impingement and partial labral tear of the shoulder, quadriceps tendonitis and various partially torn ligaments/tendons. While my lifestyle is chosen and more extreme than others, sidelining injuries are all the same and everyone has them - especially overuse & postural injuries such as tendonitis, patella-femoral syndromes, low back pain, or knee/hip/shoulder pain. I have a career in Physical Therapy, and I can, hands down say that with my experience with Ackerman Chiropractic ( Dr. Justin) is second to none. His skill level with soft tissue management and pain relief on severely acute/chronic injuries is nothing short of mysticism. I cannot speak more highly of this practice. From competitive athlete to soccer mom this place can do it all. Personable, ATTENTIVE, and HONEST. Dr. Justin doesnt settle for average results, he will give you real relief. I see it everyday - people willing to live with pain because they have been doing just that for so long but its so simple to diagnose the problems when skill is involved. My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Justin for very different reasons, but have both had great results. I am a powerlifter. Im constantly battling issues in my posterior chain. So I need a chiropractor that can keep me on the platform and pushing heavy numbers. Dr. Justin does more than just adjustments - he does ART, a must have for the athlete, as well as Graston. Im happy to say that not long after starting at Ackerman Chiropractic I hit a new PR in my squat! My wife, on the other hand, recently had a arthroscopic procedure performed on her hip. Her recovery was slower and more painful than expected - and a multi-month (and obnoxiously expensive) course of physical therapy from UPenn did little to speed things along. She has always been wary of chiropractic; after some initial hesitation, she started seeing Dr. Justin for mobility and rehab work. Her results have been fantastic - she rarely complains about hip pain and has already successfully run a 5K post-surgery. If youre in need of chiropractic care in the Philadelphia region, definitely check out Ackerman Chiropractic. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and will get you moving again before you know it.

Ive been going to Ackerman Chiropractic for adjustments since 2011 when I used to travel for work. Staying in different hotels and long hours of driving was giving me severe headaches and neck pain. Dr. Justin helped alleviate the pain and taught me exercises to manage it while on the road. He really takes the time to educate you on your aches and pains. Ive since stopped traveling but continue to visit occasionally for maintenance adjustments. Currently, Im 8 months pregnant and Dr. Justin has helped me with my hip and back pain which I attribute to why my mobility has not been effected by pregnancy. I even bring my mom in when she visits from out of town. She doesnt like being "cracked" and they listen and offer appropriate treatment for her. Absolutely the best in the business! Ive been a patient since I was a child, quite literally! I was 14 when I first went in after a fall off a horse. Both Dr. Mike and Dr. Justin not only have helped enable me to keep riding, but also start weight lifting, run fire and EMS, and even helped with my constant shoulder pains in the fall due to face painting. Thanks to them Im able to live my life to the fullest! I absolutely recommend them to anybody with any musculoskeletal issues!
