As a patient, I couldnt be more pleased with my experience under the care of Dr. Madeira. I presented to him in distress with back pain so severe that progressed over a 4 day period to where I was unable to put my socks on. Please note that I am in my mid-30s and exercise regularly (P90X, Insanity, Asylum, etc) without other medical ailments. As an allopathic physician working at an academic medical center, I had the choice of pursuing care with my primary care physician and likely a physical therapy and analgesic route versus chiropractic care. Recognizing the substantial evidence supporting the latter (and that it seemed quite rational) I chose this route upfront. In choosing a provider, I must admit I chose Dr. Madeira via a quick Google search and then a visit to his website. I took note of his experience and technique and made an appointment - via the website! Unexpectedly, I was seen later that same day for full consultation and evaluation. Instantly I was greeted by numerous professional supportive staff who I would consider first rate and would be happy to have them join my team. When I first met Dr. Madeira I found him to be compassionate and an excellent listener. He confidently expressed how he would be able to help with my situation. A course was prescribed; upfront, I underwent adjustments twice daily over the first week followed by twice weekly adjustments for I believe 6 weeks and am now on weekly adjustments over the next 6 weeks with planned bimonthly adjustments thereafter. My pain ameliorated by no less than 75% by my second adjustment. By the end of my first week I was at 95%. Currently, I am actually at 105% having not recognized that my prior baseline was compromised. Beyond my lower back improving, I do feel better following the adjustments in a subjective way. This can be tricky to interpret - particularly given my obsession with objective findings as an oncologist but I am firmly convinced of the benefits. I cannot recommend Dr. Madeira and his practice high enough.

I am now a firm believer in chiropractic care! After years of suffering with lower back pains and difficulty breathing, I finally gave in and tried it out. I must admit that I was a little skeptical beforehand. After only seeing Dr. Madeira for three weeks I not only had incredible/positive results in my breathing and back pains, my overall body and mind felt better. Dr. John Madeira is very professional and extremely knowledgable. Another positive remark is that he continues to learn new and better techniques to best serve his clients. This tells me that he has a strong passion for his profession, therefore making very successful. It is a very pleasant experience going to Dr. Madeiras office because everyone is extremely polite. I urge others to give him a visit if they too are struggling with any health issues that can be cured with chiropractic care.
