A little over two weeks ago, I hurt my back bad enough to end up in the ER the next day. After about a week of being on some really strong meds and being in constant pain, I ended up seeing an Ortho doctor, who diagnosed a bulging disc pressing on my siatic nerve, and prescribed 4 sessions with a physical therapist. I am so glad that I ended up choosing Star physical therapy, and especially this location. I did not know what to expect going end, but ended up with a great therapist named Tom who immediately set to work in our first session trying to identify the particular exercises to relieve my pain. By the end of the first session, I walked out feeling no pain. Over the weekend, I overdid it a bit and developed a new pain in my hip. So today in our second session, Tom put me through some different stretches and exercises, and again, but the end of the session, I left with no pain. As a matter of fact, Im doing so good that I dont need my 2 remaining sessions. Tom is very personable and definitely knows his job. If I ever need PT again, I have no doubt that I will come back to this location and to Tom.

This office is fantastic. I was there for a rehab of a torn rotator cuff. I was put with who I think was the best two Physical Therapists I could have. Kelsey and Angel were rock stars!! They have brought me through the rehab with flying colors. Was released today by the Surgeon, who by the way was the best that Vanderbilt Bone and Joint has....Dr. Byram! This is a great place to do any kind of physical therapy. Ankles, Shoulders, Hips, Elbows....they do it all. Thanks to everyone at this office. Everyone there was helpful and took the stress out of this process!!

I have been working with Star Physical Therapy since 2006. Everyone has been professional, compassionate and competent. Over the years, I have "graduated" a few times, after accomplishing the goals outlined by my therapists to bring me back after having both hips and both knees replaced. With my physical therapy managed at Star PT, I am still actively enjoying our family and raising our beloved bulldogs. I am so fortunate to have Lee and the staff at Franklin Star PT guiding me.
