Be cautious and informed about dental work they recommend. I started going here a couple of years ago for routine cleanings and x-rays. The dental hygienists I saw were always great. Dr. Hsia would come in after my cleaning and begin telling me that I needed to have several fillings replaced and that I had two new cavities that needed to be filled. I was skeptical about the fillings needing replacing. I was also skeptical about the new cavities. My prior dentist had been watching these for over 15 years and his recommendation had always been to monitor them and if they began to get worse he would fill them. In April we relocated to TN. My father is a practicing dentist in our town. I scheduled my yearly check up with one of his partners (my father does orthodontics). My new dentist examined me and confirmed that no work was required. The existing fillings were in good shape. The "cavities" were only small pits and he said the same as my prior dentist - watch them and take action if they get worse. Like any profession, everyone has different opinions and I understand that.

I had my first appointment at Summer Smiles yesterday and I will recommend them to everyone. First, they have their new patient paperwork on their website, so I could fill that out ahead of time, which I appreciate. When I arrived, the office was very clean and nicely decorated (contemporary decor and great lighting). There was a Welcome board with my name on it, which was a nice touch. The appointment went right on time, and they were by far the most thorough of any dentist I have ever been to. This is saying a lot, considering Ive had dental issues throughout my life (retainer, multiple crowns, root canal, implant with bone graft, wisdom teeth extraction, etc... I know what Im talking about here). Every single person in the office was pleasant and efficient. Everything was very clean and sterile but the environment was still warm and welcoming. The hygienist was so kind, enthusiastic about her job, and very gentle. Dr Hsia was very nice, spent a good amount of time reviewing everything and talking to me. I feel 100% comfortable recommending them to anyone.

BEST DOCTOR IN DALLAS!!! In 20+ years of going to a dentist, I have not seen such care, detail, and patience from any dentist like I have recieved from Dr. Hsia!! Amazing experience for my son and husband. My son had a filling done in less than 30 minutes! Quick, painless, and outstanding work! My son did better with the procedure than the cleaning!! Dr. Hsia is amazing with kids, super friendly, and welcoming!! My husband had a cleaning and an oral exam done. After explaining what was going on, he then proceeded with letting us know what the best options are to caring for his teeth and jaw. His experience is well demonstrated with each procedure done to my family! Dr. Hsia is our dentist for as long as were in Dallas! Also, as far as the clinic, the staff is super friendly, helpful, and detailed as well. The environment is kept well sterilized. I couldnt be any more pleased with the service, environment, procedures, and careful attention from Dr. Hsia and staff!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Great service. Ive had real bad experience with other dentists in the past few decades, so I know good dentist when I see one. Summer Smile dental office is very clean and nice, just as their staff. Their equipment are most modern and up to date. Dr. Hsia not only did a beautiful job on my badly chipped tooth, he also found one cavity in one of my back teeth. That tooth has started turning dark color but I did not know it until I saw the X-ray during my visit there. From my past experience, when a bad tooth starts hurting it usually is too late to save it. At that time it may need extensive work, or even need a specialist, and will definitely cost more to fix the problem. Too bad I learned this fact the hard way. I am glad this cavity was caught early before it turns into another dilemma.

For the past year Ive been going to Summer Smiles and I cannot give enough praise for the staff here. They always have a smile and make me feel so comfortable every time I visit. I moved to Texas a year ago, and had to have extensive work done on my teeth, found Summer Smiles thru the awesome Yelp reviews and made an appt. I have visits every 3 months and the staff are just great people to be around! They are very professional, yet they all just have that way to make me feel calm and comfortable before any procedures. I HIGHLY recommend them. A special thanks to Tracey, my personal hygienist, shes the bomb! Brittany at the front desk, a finance wizard, and Dr. Hsia, hes done WONDERS for my poor teeth!

Ive been going to Summer Smiles for a few years now and Im a very happy client. They are a welcoming and cheerful staff, the office is clean and modern and the staff is very current on the latest dental technology. Dr. Hsia is ethical and doesnt push unnecessary procedures on you and puts patient safety first. Tracey, the hygienist is fantastic and I enjoy seeing her every visit. Leaving this good review is the very least I can do for them...I believe I (falsely) accused them of trying to kill me while I was under anesthesia for a wisdom tooth removal.. so maybe this puts me back in the trust circle.

Where to start? Florence and Holli have the best customer service ever as they took the time to explain to me the best possible dental insurance during my companys open season for dental benefits! They always know me by my name whenever I come in twice a year! So professional! Patti is a true sweetheart and was very caring in my dental hygienic needs and really took the time to educate and get to know me. Sean is hands down the most caring, responsible and professional dentist in all of Allen. I highly recommend this practice as my wife and I both trust Summer Smiles for all of our dental needs!

Dr. Hsia was recommended to me when I had a major issue (and undulating pain) that my previous dentist couldnt identify. With his depth of experience and his up-to-date equipment, he was able to figure it out and resolve it on my first visit. For that, I am grateful. My family (including my two children) now go to him. The staff is always friendly and considerate and they make sure you are taken care of.

I am new to summer smile and thought all dentiest are same but they proved me wrong .Their service was excellent lady hygienists who performed deep clean on my teeth took her time and made sure that my teeth were really clean she even went back and X-rayed to check if it was done 100% clean which is the proof of excellent service I would say I finally found my ultimate dental care provider
