Its very hard to make an appointment with the doctor, not the nurse practitioner. Ive had pretty severe allergies and was seen by the nurse practitioner, but the problems came back, so I wanted to see the doctor this time. The wait is six weeks long! Does he not have time reserved to see sick patients? Are my problems not important enough to be seen within a week or two? Just absurd! I can understand if its a new patient exam, but Im a patient of record. I get charged for being seen by the doctor, yet they let the nurse practitioner see me instead. Probably going to find a new provider.

Ive always had a good experience with Dr. Smitherman as my PCP. I have not had insurance for a couple years, but recently that changed..so I will be returning to re-establish and continue with my healthcare needs.

doctor dropped me as a patient without an explanation and he is not a good listener. Go somewhere else if you need to take part in your own care.
