I came to Texas Spinal Health because progressive fibromyalgia pain was robbing me of an active life. I had been a long term patient of another local Chiropractic Clinic and had lost all hope of regaining normalcy. After just one visit with Dr. Mixon, my hope began to return. Dr. Mixon and his staff are amazing. They are professional, encouraging, and personable. The services offered by this Integrated Practice are outstanding, and with Fibromyalgia, Ive needed them all. I have periodic checks by the medical director, and always need a Chiropractic adjustment by Dr. Mixon on my visits because the tightened muscles with Fibro pull and my spine becomes misaligned. I have been helped so much through the rehab program and am continually learning how Fibromyalgia affects my joints and muscles and how to battle this crazy syndrome through exercise. Fibro causes knotted muscles in my back and shoulders, and trigger-point therapy gives me much needed relief. At times of extreme pain, I have had homeopathic injections from the nurse practicioner, and kept the pain at bay for longer periods of time. Ive also had lab testing done and evaluated to find out how to improve my health with nutritional supplements. Long story short: After a year, Dr. Mixon and his staff have given me my life back. I am able to live an active life & just returned from a 10 day/1600 mile camping trip. Texas Spinal Health is with me in my battle against Fibro!

I have suffered from migraines and back pain for several years. I tried another chiropractor a few years ago and had a terrible experience. After each appointment I was in more pain and experienced a great deal of discomfort without seeing any improvement with my headaches and back pain. I recently decided to give chiropractic care another shot and could not be happier to have found Dr. Mixon. Within the first few visits I noticed a significant decrease in the number of headaches I was having as well as the intensity. Dr. Mixon took the time to listen to my concerns and tried several techniques until he found the one that worked for me. He and his staff really take the time to get to know their patients which creates a comfortable atmosphere. I am so thankful that I gave chiropractic care a second chance and to have found Dr. Mixon in the process.

Everyone in the office is absolutely amazing, caring and through. They were able to help me more than any physical therapy, spinal decompression, you mention it Ive done it. They have a doctor in the office and they have also done trigger point injections on me. They have massages, chair massages, they show you stretches to do at home and they work with you after your adjustment to stretch and do whatever will help to help you. I really do love everyone there and never feel rushed, they really care. Ive been suffering from cronic back pain for at least 6 years and within a couple months of seeing them I feel better already its almost too good to be true.

I went into this entire approach a little hesitant. I have been dealing with severe long term pain and have been to several doctors trying to get fixed. I have not had much luck. Upon entering Dr. Mixons office, I felt immediately at ease. The staff here is amazing and as friendly as it gets. Dr. Mixon was very thorough with my medical history and I know that my best interest is in mind. He is very clear with his recommendations and I feel as though I am finally on the right path for relief. Scheduling is easy and they work with my insurance. I highly recommend this office to anyone searching for high quality chiropractic care.

The reason I started going to Dr. Mixon was because he took my insurance, so it didnt cost me an arm and a leg to see him. I have continued to see him for the past 6 years because he is the most meticulous Dr. that I know. He is also very willing to think outside the box, he has adjusted bones in my feet and elbow giving me instant relief! The staff are friendly and when I am hurting they will get me in last minute. Dr. Mixon always listens and I feel like he is totally focused on me when I am in the room, not 50 other things. Thanks to him I truely have spinal health!

I went to Dr. Mixon when I found out from the doctors that I had degenerative disc disorder. They told me I would probably never play soccer again, however, Dr. Mixon proved them wrong. I have been going to Mixon for 5 years now, and thanks to him I was able to play college soccer! He is a wonderful doctor and his staff is awesome too. They are always able to fit you in for an appointment and there is never a long wait!
