I will just sum up my experience... I have had back problems since I was about 17 Ive been through a lot of treatment and I thought it was time to go back to a chiropractor because the pain came back full force. I went in for X-rays everything was fine until they wanted to review the X-rays where a woman came in not a chiropractor and I felt that scare tactics were used, not only that but I was told "my insurance wouldnt cover much" and given a folder with a treatment plan and different options of down payments the bigger down payment you make the cheaper it was supposed to be.. I was being rushed to commit to a treatment plan and to put the down payment that day I didnt want to do that I brought it home and did the math, it was actually the same price to pay for every time I went as I went which was actually cheaper than the plans I was given. So basically I felt like they wanted me to make a big commitment in about 20 minutes total of being there which would have trapped me. Luckily I did not pay for the entire treatment plan I then called first step chiropractic and asked why my insurance was not covering "much" and they said because they were out of network... So the truth was insurance was not covering anything! It seems very deceitful to me to word things in that way.. Especially since I had met my deductible and the treatments would have been free for me. Not only that but I was actually going before I could get a referral to another chiropractor I was paying for every adjustment and the final straw was definitely when I went in for an adjustment waited for about 45 minutes when I was told there is no wait in the mornings, got my adjustment and as I was walking out my left leg was in extreme pain.. But now I was late for work, being rushed out, and just tried to continue with my day a couple hours later I couldnt walk properly so I called them and told them something was wrong and that my leg was not in pain before I came in they said to come back in and they would do another adjustment for free, but that they were closing in 30 minutes so I rushed there and was informed that my hip was locked and my knee cap was to the side I feel like rather than getting people in and out as quickly as possible I should have gotten a chance to say something was wrong although that should have been checked before I left without me having to do it myself. They used a machine sort of hammer like with a rubber end to get my knee back into place. This was a couple months ago and my knee is still completely bruised. The chiropractor I see now has a doctor in the office, they do physical therapy, massages, and injections it is completely different and the ladies who work there are so sweet and truly care and want to help. I do not recommend this place Ive been to many different types of therapy for my back so I can tell pretty quickly whos out for the money moving people in and out as fast as they can and I think it is so sad that they are very busy and promising these people results just like they were promising me. It was also bothersome all of the calls and text messages as well as calls from different numbers from them telling me to get the best results I need to come in ASAP.... But because of the injury I had there I wasnt able to do the things I do on a daily basis even when in a lot of pain I will power through, its a shame to get hurt while youre trying to do anything to make it stop. I would recommend for you to go somewhere else. I am now going to Dr. Mixon at Texas spine and wellness and they have helped me so much there is none of the crazy treatment plan pay ahead nonsense as you go they teach you thing you can do at home and they are very through which is really nice.

After visiting 2 other chiropractors in the past 15 years with no results or adverse results, I was in no hurry to find another chiropractor. However, my wife found Dr. Fowler based on a referral from another parent at my sons gymnastics. I was somewhat disappointed in the lack of reviews on Google Local, but not surprised, since they removed all of the Google Maps reviews. But, based on the referral, we went to one of Dr. Fowlers sponsored dinners to learn how how it might help us. Now, 3 of my family members are going, including myself. Dr. Fowler cares enough to show you what to expect and even educates you to recognize most issues before he identifies yours. This went a long way to helping me put my confidence in him. After my first visit, I was no longer experiencing the back pains that would force me out of bed, in the morning. It is not surprising that my back will need time and training to unlearn the issues I could see in the digital X-rays, but Im already discovering issues that I had considered part of life, and some of them had not even realized were there until they went away. Dr. Fowler does not seem to be a wacko or quack like some of the chiropractors that I have seen or read about. He does believe in a full body health and now I would have to agree that anyone experiencing any chronic issue should see a good chiropractor to potentially get to the root of the problem before going on a life-long prescription of medication that will only treat the symptoms. Its surprising what we take for granted, but it all is triggered via the nervous system. When the literal spinal cord that carries all of these messages is disrupted, even things like digestion, allergies, and reproductive issues could be affected. After learning about and experiencing the potential benefits of a good chiropractor, I am looking forward to taking my younger son and possibly my daughter to see if there could be a non-drug solution for his ADHD and the severe ear infections they have both experienced when they were younger.

During our move from Minnesota to Rowlett, unpacking and settling into our home earlier this past summer, I tripped, fell down across the garage door threshold and landed very hard on my stomach, severely bruising both of my elbows and wrenched my spine in a very painful displacement. My husband had also been receiving Chiropractic care in Minnesota following a car accident in September, 2012. Weve had numerous experiences with Chiropractic care previous to this move, and didnt have a clue where to go for good care in Texas. We were kindly referred to Dr. Fowler, who assessed our body needs in his most professional and experienced manner, and we received care on the spot! Dr. Fowler has the gift of healing in his hands and soul, and provides care and healing to our bodies that weve not experienced prior to coming to him. We recommend Dr. Fowler and his staff to anyone who needs the deep healing that can only be accomplished through the methods of Chiropractic adjustments he provides, and give thanks to him for not only healing our bodies, but for being the instrument of Gods healing touch. God bless you Dr. Fowler - and thank you!
