Nov 8, 2011 Excellent People, Great Work... Without hesitation I would highly recommend PTRC - Physical Therapy & Rehab Concepts to anyone requiring physical therapy assistance. I was very impressed with my care and treatment received, and the genuine concern, friendliness, and professionalism that every staff member demonstrated at all times. From the greeting received from their extremely friendly and considerate receptionist through every member of their staff during my entire experience at PTRC, I found everyone to be very friendly, considerate, helpful, professional, and proficient. I did not expect PTRC to perform miracles, but I was assured PTRC staff were up to the task, and they were. While every staff member was excellent; three of them I would especially like to thank and give a few words of praise, are Vikki Hill, Allison Hernandez, and Heather McDonald. Vikki Hill demonstrated genuine concern, professionalism and patient communication skills at the very first evaluation session, making sure she gathered as much information as possible to place me in the appropriate training / therapy treatment. She personally checked on my condition, pain level, and treatment throughout my prescribed visits with PTRC, making adjustments where needed. I think the multiple bulging or pinched nerves of my spine may have caused a challenge, but she assured me that she and the PTRC staff were up to the task. Her friendly, helpful, considerate and professional demeanor reassured me and helped me relax. Allison, who was the assistant who in addition to Vikki oversaw and managed my entire treatment during my sessions also projected an extremely professional, helpful, concerned, and friendly image of PTRC; and always made myself and other patients comfortable and relaxed while assuring that other assistants assigned to our treatment were following proper treatment programs and procedures. Throughout my treatment sessions, she checked to make sure I was doing well; and had a positive, friendly attitude at all times. With Heather being my pool treatment assistant and trainer, I probably spent more time under her direction and care than any other individual staff member. Like Vikki and Allison, Heather demonstrated true concern for every patient she worked with. Heather has a friendly, upbeat, positive, and outgoing personality that naturally causes patients to be assured and relaxed, almost forgetting their pain and wanting to do their work outs properly. While still in school and training, she projects an extremely positive, friendly, helpful, concerned, and professional image of PTRC. I sincerely enjoyed our conversations during treatment, that definitely helped relieve my initial apprehensions about coming to a physical therapy facility. Kirk Painter is sharp, smooth, effective, observant, and extremely good in his work. He treats everyone, whether they are a patient or employee with respect, kindness and consideration. He appeared to be very good and attentive in his treatment of patients, while still being able to observe things within the facility, to quickly make recommendations to assistants who needed help or instructions. And when they did, his smooth actions came off just as a helpful team mate, without ever losing a beat on treatment of his patient. The people at PTRC are truly a team in every sense of the word. I have personally met two of the owners, and worked with and observed many of the employees, and without hesitation, I would strongly recommend PTRC - Physical Therapy & Rehab Concepts to anyone requiring physical therapy assistance.

I recently earned my bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science through Texas State University. The degree required me to complete an internship with a Physical Therapy facility. After being a prior patient at PTRC myself for a shoulder injury, I chose to fulfill my internship requirement there. I have worked at several different Physical Therapy facilities, and PTRC is by far the best. The Therapists are very knowledgeable and friendly. The office and Physical Therapy aide staff are a terrific compliment to an already superb treatment facility. I enjoyed my time working with their staff and at that location. If you have Physical Therapy needs, I would recommend PTRC for their friendly, professional, and extremely effective care.

Ever since my encounter with these folks, it has been nothing but absolute dedication to the patients they treat. Some may say I say that because I had a good outcome of their services. That is true, and also false. They did everything they could to help rehabilitate a 2-year old back injury to no avail. They did everything they could to challenge my body to cooperate with the treatments. Again, to no avail. However frustrating it must have been for them knowing they couldnt help me never stopped them from trying. If you need treatments, laughs, and good folks, PTRC is the way to go. Its likely worth the drive from any city in Texas.

I had a torn muscle complicated with a frozen shoulder and was looking at having to have surgery. Thankfully Melesa did not give up and with her experience and dedication worked with me diligently until I finally made the turn to improvement. I am able now to perform what some would call mundane tasks that I could not do before. The simple things like brushing my hair I could not do but now am able to. Melesa with her aide Veronica are exceptional people. Everyone that I observed there are very professional but personable. If you have to have therapy this is the place to have it done. Thank-you for all that you have done for me.

I came to PTRC with a grade 3 sprain at the beginning of my freshmen year in college. I have never laughed so hard in my life at a doctors office. I had PT twice a week for six weeks and every single appointment was comfortable, casual, and I was always treated like family. I am beyond pleased with their customer service and willingness to work with my insurance, as for my injury I am rehabilitated and was sent home with instructions for further stretches and a t-shirt! PTRC is filled with wonderful staff and I was disappointed when I "graduated" and no longer got to spend two HILARIOUS hours with such a wonderful group of people.

After months of dealing with the results of a broken navicular bone in my foot, I had given up ever again being pain free. The wonderful staff at PTRC not only provided the therapy I needed to become free of pain, they actually made it enjoyable. Kirk Painter and his staff are delightful. They always run on time--which impressed me almost as much as the therapy. My husband had been to this facility several times over the years and had always raved about about great they were. Im sorry I had occasion to find out, but he is indeed correct that this is the place to go if you have any kind of problem requiring physical therapy.

This was honestly the best physical therapy provider I have ever been to. Kirk Painter and his staff really helped me along and sped up my recovery time exponentially. They didnt treat me as if I was just another client, rather, everyday I went there they were generally concerned about my well being and attempted to maximize my gains and improvements. Also, the staff has a good sense of humor, so no matter how down or depressed you feel about your progress, they will find a way to cheer you up. Bottom line, if you decide to go here, you will not be disappointed.

When I to for physicial therapy I need help. Ive been to PTRC several times over the years and Kirk Painter and staff patiently guided me back to recovery. The individually designed therapy was great. But the staff also took time to understand my frame of mind. To them, I was a real person first -- and not just an injury. A bonus is that the sessions were so enjoyable that my endorphins exploded! We all know that when these natural pain killers from the brain are released -- they work wonders.
