I have been in between CA and DC for two years now, eventually I made the decision to permanently stay here in DC for employment purposes. For over 20 years I had been visiting a dentist in Los Angeles, CA that was for the most part a close family friend. While I admit that as I child I eat way too much candy, this particular family dentist was a bit antiquated and refused to move towards more up to date practices. As a result, I have a ton of silver filling and just this month learned about the advantages of composite. It appears that my previous dentist aimed to save my parents money (many dental plans including Delta Dental which we had growing up dont cover resin fillings in teeth that arent visible in a smile). Looking back I really wish I would have known my options and my dentist would have explained why we were going with Silver over composite. Now after learning about the benefits of composite I am more interested in learning more! I am in the early stages of my treatment and I attended my first and second visit with Dr. Anderson last week. My visits was short and sweet. I initially came in for a simple teeth cleaning, but turns out I need $2,500 -3,000 worth of work. With that, the office is very accommodating in terms of payments, offer a couple options and are willing to work with patients I terms of a payment timeline. Other Positives: Access to the office, it’s easy enough to find, I’ve taken an Uber there from DC twice and had no problems! The outer office is clean and uncluttered, and the office staff is very helpful. Bathroom is spotless. Waiting area is welcoming. TV’s in every room so that you can calm your nerves while waiting! Ha.

After many years, my ancient 5-tooth frontal bridge had deteriorated to the point that it literally had lost its grip. I called Renova (recommended to me by my previous dentist of more than 40 years) early on a Monday morning to explain the loss of my bridge over the weekend. Sensitive to the urgency of my situation, Renova staff advised that they would be able to accommodate me within the hour. Following an initial x-ray and examination, Dr. Anderson shared the results of the x-ray with me, and at my request called my previous dentist of many decades to explain what had happened. After some discussion, they jointly reached the conclusion that the old bridge was not reparable and obviously would need to be replaced - and quickly. Dr. Anderson outlined a course of action to which I agreed and upon which we are now embarked. Positives: access to the office, just off Leesburg Pike/Rte. 7, in Baileys Crossroads, is easy enough to find, with ample free parking on the lower level. The outer office is clean and uncluttered, and the office staff is very pleasant and helpful. I greatly appreciated that staff were able to get me on Dr. Andersons busy calendar on such short notice, and his flexibility in accommodating my needs with respect to future appointments. At this writing, the new bridge is still a work in progress but my initial impressions are all positive. Phil H

I was struggling finding a dentist that supported my insurance and after too long of not being at a dentist--I was a bit apprehensive about going back. The staff at Renova smiles was SUPER friendly and helped me go through the paperwork of my first visit quickly and stressfree. Once in the back, I had a very nice conversation in between my teeth being cleaned and they also had a TV to watch when your teeth were being worked on and talking was impossible. I was recommended a few treatments which werent covered by my insurance and they offered competitive pricing and payment plans to help make my teeth as healthy as could be. I dont know if anyone can care about my teeth as much as I should and do but if they exist then Renova Smiles are those people! I would (and will) recommend this place to my friends. Go here !

I know many people (including myself) hate going to the dentist, but Im glad I came to this dentist office. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist were very friendly. A few things I really appreciated were that they are on zocdoc, which made scheduling very simple, and that the dentist did the actual cleaning rather than some offices where you are only seen for cleanings by a dental hygienist. Both the hygneist and the dentist explained throughout the visit what they were doing and what to do to prevent any problems in the future. My only con is that it was hard to find initially because its behind an apartment complex, but the receptionist actually stayed on the phone until I found the place which was super nice of him. I would highly recommend this dentist.

I moved here for work over a year ago and was still seeing my dentist back home everytime I would go visit family in MA. I finally decided it was time to make the switch and get a dentist here in the DMV. I found Renova Smiles on ZocDoc because they accepted my insurance plan. I was very pleased with my first experience from online booking and quick appointment availability to the secretary at the front desk who was kind enough to verify my insurance and run my plan through their system to give me a quote for the cosmetic services I am planning to get done next. The hygienist and the doctor were both SO nice and made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment They made sure to answer all of my questions and made the experience timely and enjoyable.

I had a Groupon for teeth whitening and everything went smoothly. Ive had Zoom done before so I knew what to expect. The office is clean, efficient and the process went without any issues. The technician who worked on me explained everything as he was doing it, which is helpful. I opted to get the extra treatment to lessen any potential pain to my gums and I experienced no pain at all during the 45-minute treatment and my results were very good. The time passed pretty quickly and they were kind enough to give me a blanket as the room was cold due to the AC and I napped while the treatment occurred. They offered to honor the Groupon price for future visits so Ill definitely come back in a year or so for a retouch.

I had a great experience at this office. From the get go, i was over 30 minutes late for my appointment and was still able to be seen without any delay once i got there. Of course i called ahead and the very kind receptionist was soooo nice to assure me they will still make time to see me, he was awesome. The whole staff was very friendly and professional . The dentist (her name slipped my mind right now) was absolutely attentive, kind and seem pretty experienced with prosthetic cases. In my case it was invisline. All in all as a new patient there, i felt as comfortable as i could be with everything. Im sure i would be happy through out my process there.

Found them through 1800DENTIST and I must say, after having traumatic experiences with other dentists this place is by far my favorite!!! Dr. Anderson really takes his time to make you comfortable and listens to what you have to say, he doesnt rush you through just to get to the next patient! Hes GREAT with extractions and with KIDS! They are very honest and friendly! I will always recommend them to everyone I know! Small business owners take their time and its NOT all about taking your $$$$ they actually genuinely care and thats HARD to find now a day!!! Plus their prices beat others by far!!! So worth the time and money!!! 2 thumbs up RENOVA!!!
