Wouldn’t go anywhere else! I am recently a new patient to the office and why I recommend Dr. Samuels’s office: --UNDERSTANDING-- Dr. Samuels listens really well to what you say. I came to his office because my teeth have shifted causing crowding. I explained to him that I had braces when I was younger but my teeth shifted because I could not keep my retainers in at night. That being said, he discussed with me all my options and not once did he push me to pursue Invisalign (which is popular among adults), but for me, could end down an avenue where I might not get the results I am expecting since the retainers have to be worn 23 hours of the day. Dr. Samuels is certified for treatment of 6 month smiles and together we decided that that was the best treatment option to meet my needs. --COMMUNICATION-- The office sends you a reminder email of your appointment, which really helps keep my schedule strait. The office staff is also very helpful when you switch your dental needs over to them. They did all the work for me! They called my old office to get my x-rays and old information so I didn’t have to bother doing it myself. The staff is so friendly, remembers your name, and is well versed on different insurance plans and treatment options. --COMMITMENT-- Dr. Samuels is very committed to his work through his knowledge and how thorough he is with his work. He keeps excellent records and pictures in my case to mark your progress. The office is also VERY clean, which to me is a direct reflection that shows me he cares. --TIMELY-- All of my appointments have been held to the time I was scheduled for. To me, this is one of the most important aspects of an excellent dental office! With Dr. Samuels, I never feel rushed in my appointment and I have always been given an accurate estimate of time that I can expect to be in the office for my next visit, which makes planning for my appointments super easy. Lastly, he MAKES ME SMILE! He is very personable and makes every office visit pleasant. I highly recommend going to Dr. Samuels’s office for all of your dental/ortho needs!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Samuels for several years now. Thankfully, Ive never had to be in his chair, only the hygienist. But, an old filling that he had shown me pictures of with his "intra-oral" camera had finally needed replacement. Im a terrible patient, I gag and want to swallow a lot. He was very gracious and understanding. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Samuels must have told his assistant "thank you" 20-30 times, each time she did something, suction, rinsed etc. That shows me he is really considerate of his staff and that to me is a reflection of what kind of person he is. Lastly, he has all the latest technology, I was blown away. I asked questions about all of these things. They arent toys, they are for his patients benefit. He has a couple of air purifiers in the office, audio relaxation head phones, intra oral cameras to show you what hes talking about in your mouth, digital xray for way less radiation, and the best one of all a machine called Cerec. Its a machine that takes a picture of the filling or crown in your mouth that needs replacement, then he designs it on the computer and mills it out of the material the lab would use. The best part is you dont have to wait a few weeks for the final one, its all done in one appointment! No temporaries and extra visits and my personal favorite -no impressions!!!!. I was so impressed I had to write this review. The whole team he has working with him are great, I truly appreciate how friendly and accommodating they are. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Jay Samuels. Every visit is a good experience, and Ive been seeing him for over a decade. I take my kids there too. He is caring and patient. I never feel like Im asking him too many questions because he takes his time to address all of my concerns and let me know what hes doing every step of the way. Hes also highly knowledgeable and its easy to trust him. One thing I noticed is how he treats his assistant with respect and gratitude. My last visit, I had a crown put on and the procedure was smooth and efficient. He has a modern machine that makes the crowns in his office, so they are molded and created while you wait in the chair. That was really convenient. His sense of humor helped ease my fears, too. I also really like all of his hygienists and the office staff. I feel like my visits usually start on time. Thats what prompted me to write this review. My last appointment was 11am and I was in the chair with my bib on by 11:02a - so I told myself I was going to come home and write this. Overall, I highly recommend Dr Samuels.

I just finished my 6 Month Smiles treatment with Dr. Samuels, which means that I have been visiting their office quite often for the last 6 months. I would recommend the office to anyone in a heart beat. I had been unhappy with my crowded smile for years, and had saved and researched my options. I wasnt going into this lightly, but I immediately felt as though this was the right treatment and right office for me. The office is extremely personable, well-run, clean, and professional. Dr. Samuels has an excellent chair-side manner, and is a perfectionist when it comes to teeth. Also, I never felt pushed into anything (for example, when I needed a filling replaced, it was suggested that I could just go to my normal dentist, where insurance would pick up the bulk of the tab--I had been planning on this, I really appreciated not feeling awkward.) I felt like a participant in the process and never was confused about the treatment. Most importantly, Im very happy with results!

Dr. Samuels and his staff are awesome ! He is extremely knowledgeable and takes time to make sure his patients are comfortable in the chair. My husband and I have been patients for several years. I would recommend him to anyone - especially to those folks who are a little "nervous" during dental procedures. NuCalm rocks ! Ask him about it !

While no one should have to go through multiple implants, crowns, fillings, etc, I have been and survived all with Dr. Samuels skill and empathy.
