I have never met Dr. Goorah - so this is not about her. Her practice, however, is horrible. My wife and I switched dental insurance providers and we needed a new dentist. Aetna gave us a list and she was close by and online reviews were "ok." After our first initial visits, then cleanings (since they WONT do a cleaning at an initial visit), and a filling procedure for my wife - we absolutely CANNOT recommend this office. Out of five visits, we were left waiting in the waiting room for up to 30 minutes - with another 45 minutes of waiting in the back rooms. Aetna only reimburses for silver fillings in the back teeth 100% and this office DOES NOT use silver fillings period so they charged us $100 a filling extra. If you are a preferred vendor for an insurance company and you do not provide the basic procedures for that company - you are scamming them and your patients. I waited for over an hour for my cleaning that the doctor then did IN 13 MINUTES! It was a complete hack job. My previous dentist would not have even started the procedure in the time she finished hers because he would review my chart and discuss the procedure first with me. And, yes, like the previous reviews state - the front office staff is very rude. I have caught them speaking poorly of customers (in Spanish) right in front of them. Completely poor treatment. Completely poor review. Find another dentist.

The rating that this review system gives is Poor to Fair, but for this office it should be POOR. I had a root canal done and I felt the endodontist totally rushed the whole procedure....I paid $800 out of pocket for his rush job and I had excruciating pain afterwards. My face still feels weird on that side and when Dr. Goorah checked it she said she could see nothing on the x ray. After I get my crown seated by her I AM NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS OFFICE. THE STAFF IS RUDE, INCLUDING THE OFFICE MANAGER. THEY LOOK YOU IN THE FACE AND IGNORE YOU AND ARE CONDESCENDING. They scheduled me four months out because I could not afford to pay for my crown up front. Yes, I understand that they need to be paid for their crown, but being in this office has just left a bad feeling with me. Grade of F for the whole experience and I cant wait to be rid of them. The dental assistants all seem unhappy and drag themselves around. Typical inefficient, office politics nonsense. Save your money, and yourself a nightmare.

The office staff is rude. They smile in your face and act like they care when you ask a question, then start talking in Spanish amongst each other all while periodically looking at you to see if you understand whats being said. I went in for a cleaning just to be told that I would need an exam as well "that my insurance doesnt cover and I had to pay a $50 co-pay" that I didnt have to pay last time I went (with the same insurance). That was a lie my insurance does cover that (I called to ask). The cleaning I went in for wasnt even done properly, and they didnt even let me use a mirror to see. I got home and saw that there was still stuff on my teeth that didnt get cleaned off. When I called to complain they politely treated me as if I didnt know what I was talking about, and refused to give me the info about my exam (that my insurance company told me to ask for) . They want me to come back in to show them what I have an issue with. Im not going back to be suckered out of more $.

Do not go here. I have been 3 times and i leave angry every single time. They dont know how to keep appointments. I showed up 5 minutes before my appointment and waited 45 minutes before being called all three times. Then you have to sit in the chair and wait longer. On my last visit, i was there to see a specialist. He had no idea why i was there and the assistants couldnt figure out either. After waiting 45 minutes in the waiting room then another 15 in the chair they figured it out, the doctor looked in my mouth said everything was ok and dismissed me. I still dont think he knew what i was there for. Needless to say, it was a waste of time and money. I am not going back and will find a new dentist. If i could give it zero stars i would but Google doesnt let me.

Excellent. My experience was urgent as a crown cracked and my dentist was out of town. Others could not take me. This office was the only dental office willing to take me, after trying 8, the wait was 20 minutes to fit me in. They installed a temp crown and had a custom one made within 3 days. I found the staff to be efficient and polite. I am reading these other poor reviews and it seems like a different office. Perhaps they have read these other postings and learned. Due to the impromptu service and attention to the fact that I was leaving town in a few days, I congratulate them on their team effort and extra effort working into the evening. All others closed at 4-5pm that day. Sorry about the others not pleased, especially the woman in pain, not good.

The worse!!!!, a I have a good insurance and this ppl ripped off my wife with a mediocre service leaving a cavity unattended after supposedly fixing it and depleting our entire yearly coverage in 3 visits, plus denying my dental X-rays being transfer( bc I was fed up with all their BS) giving me a paper copy and denying this to be sent over email to another office after being paid this X-rays with my insurance. This person Dr Goorita is only interested in squeezing your entire insurance coverage and keeps you going to the office to keep over charging you for stuff that you prob dont need. Like they did to me. Lesson learn and moved on, but I leaving this comment to let ppl aware the kind of service you can get here

WORST DENTIST IN THE COUNTRY. BE AWARE!! I wonder why this Dr is still practicing. Dr Goorah will play nice just to trick you for the money.. and when you make a complaint to her, then youll see the real side or her.. and she becomes defensive. Goorah purposely damage my teeth. She will claim to be fixing one problem but will sure create one. Then I get to go back. On and on... I spoke to several other patients they have the same issues. She damaged my teeth and I get to live with it for the rest of my life. Her staff are disrespectful and can care less. WARNING!! DO NOT ACCEPT ANY "FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE" from them. Look for help somewhere else.

While Dr. Goorah and dental hygenists are OK, the office staff makes dealing with this dental practice absolute torture. They took over one year to bill us for a simple co-pay and when finally billed, included finance charges. They cannot fulfill a simple request to share dental records or x-rays with another dentists. They make appointment scheduling impossible and often leave you with no choice but to come back for multiple visits because they did not adequately account for the procedures you tell them you need.
