My wife and I are loyal long term customers and big time fans of Dr. Michael Rogers and HIS ENTIRE TEAM! Everyone at Fairlington Dental is Highly Trained, Highly Skilled and Highly Professional and Nice to work with. (By the way I think going way back, the entire team is still the same over many years). Because of the logistics of our particular lives, we dont hesitate in the least to get on a plane and fly 2000 miles round trip, just to keep our routine dental care appointments. Its worth it, because when it comes to excellence - there is no substitute. Fairlington Denal is the best. Period. All my life I have had great luck finding exceptionally good dentists and sticking with them as long as they were working. I found Dr. Rogers after the eventual retirement of 3 other top quality dentists. But even among all of them, Dr. Rogers is in a class of his own in terms of skills, talent and integrity. Dentistry, like all health care fields in my lifetime has evolved a lot, however the benefits to the patient still require the same timeless commitment and dedication to old fashioned excellence and integrity. Fairlington Dental is an embodiment of that commitment. They use all the latest high tech tools and the constant new training required to do that but the key to their success is the fact that every person on the team is led and inspired by the old fashioned values of Michael Rogers who is part of a great American tradition of the highest quality dental care on the planet. If you can find a better dental team than Fairlington Dental, you have accomplished the near impossible. Good luck.

Everyone at Fairlington Dental does an outstanding job - every time. They all go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable as possible and I feel like I am treated like part of the family. Today marked the end of a long jaw restoration journey for me. Dr. Rogers has been treating me for 3 years for dislocated jaws, TMJD and today he replaced one implant crown and one regular crown. The office was clean and bright. Dawn and Martha greeted me as I came in. Liz spent a long time with me in prepping me for the crowns and taking impressions for my new mouth guard (ferrar) for nighttime use. She is always so kind to me. Dr. Rogers is truly a master at his craft. He carefully sculpted and adjusted the two crowns for a perfect fit. The whole experience was relaxing and calm. My My hygienist, Vivian even popped her head in to say hello. Due to the quality of care I have received for my jaw issues over the past 3 years, I have recently designated Fairlington Dental as my primary and only dentist office. I drive about 40 miles each way to visit this practice because of the exceptional quality of care. It is well worth the trip. Sometimes you have to go the distance to find the best doctors and experiences. I left today feeling very well cared for and I would definitely recommend Fairlington Dental to all people, especially those with jaw issues.

Fairlington Dental has an excellent practice, and they just helped me with a serious dental issue. Dr. Rogers carefully reviewed with me the images of the problem, the potential fixes, and every known risk in order to prevent any surprises. He is an excellent communicator, and as a doctor, he is very good at picking up cues about a patients anxieties or questions. As a care provider, he speaks directly with you--while Ive had some medical professionals talk "down" to me before--Dr. Rogers is a much more approachable professional. He assumes that the patient knows a few things about dental care, and in cases that I didnt know he educated me to ensure that I was able to make the best choices for myself. A key aspect that I really like about the practice is how much care Dr. Rogers assistants provide. Melissa was Dr. Rogers assistant for this procedure, and she was able to handle many of the tasks alongside the doctor, making the visit very, very efficient. The office is also in an extremely convenient location (about 30 seconds off 395), and its very well-appointed, including free Wi-Fi, free cookies, espresso, cable TV in every exam room, etc. I really felt at home there. If youre looking for a compassionate dentist with an incredible staff (I really like everyone there), please consider Fairlington Dental.

Im sorry, I dont get the positive reviews, I really dont. Like okay.. The front desk personnel are pretty professional, however, when I met with the Doctor I guess I got him on a bad day. He seemed agitated with my TMJ problem. I was already seeing a specialist in Richmond, Virginia. Living in southern Maryland it would have been much better for me to commute to Michael Rogers instead. Plus my splint from my specialist in Richmond wasnt fitting quite right so I had to keep going back and forth to Richmond. With that said it just made the most logical sense to consult with Dr. Rogers office. So Im not sure what I did to deserve the annoyed behavior from the doctor - like I was bothering him during the consultation. But the icing on the cake was when I called with a treatment plan question about a month or two later. I was going to move forward with treatment. I spoke to Dawn I believe. The office was closing so she took a message and was going to have someone give me a callback since she didnt know the answer to my question. Well that was roughly 2 weeks ago. I have yet to get that callback. Obviously at this point I will continue to drive the 2 hours to my Richmond specialist. Happy that this Dr. Rogers works out so well for so many others. My Richmond doctor had better prices anyway. #endrant

Ever since I was a teen and lost both of my front teeth in high school sports, I have had a dental phobia, mostly because of that 1960s traumatic dental experience. As I grew older I avoided the dentist like the plague. My dentists, wherever I was in the world, were impersonal, uncaring or actually quite cold, especially my military dentists. I had a friend that referred me to Dr Michael Rogers in early 2007. His Fairlington office is on the way to/from my workplace. He also has early morning appointments so I did not have to take off work time. I decided to give him a try. He put me at ease immediately. I told him of my dental phobia and to my astonishment, he treated me with a non-threatening combination of "`tell, show, do" and “no big needle” pretty gentle dentistry. I came to realize that what I feared was what I didnt understand. Dr Rogers was interested in me as a person and put me at ease. His staff (Martha, Dawn, Virginia) are outstanding in every way and respond to my questions with a smile. I actually look forward to seeing Dr Rogers now and while I am still a wee bit nervous about dental drills and such, but now it is not such a big deal. Five out of five stars! ***** !! Chris StJohn

Dr. Michael Rogers and his staff at Fairlington Dental arent just your neighborhood dental office, they become your friends, they personally and genuinely care about you and your family! Everyone is trained to the highest levels and all of their equipment is state of the art. They care about each patient and it shows. The staff is very friendly and the office offers perks to make each visit very accommodating. For instance you can get your hands moisturized in a paraffin wax treatment, some of the dental chairs have a massage feature, I needed to elevate my foot from an accident and they brought me in a pillow to help me find my comfort zone along with a blanket. They offer refreshments in the office too. These are just a few of the many perks they offer to set their office above all the rest. When I was in for just a simple procedure, I received a follow up call that night from Dr. Rogers, just checking on me. This is the type of service that makes you feel truly cared about and makes this office team not just my dental office, but my friends. Please give them a try, you wont be sorry and you will feel as I do whether its your first visit or years later like me.
