Well, after reading a couple of decent reviews on other sites I decided to give the animal health clinic a chance. Big mistake. The receptionist was wonderful and super friendly but Dr. White was a different story. We just moved here two weeks ago from Omaha, NE. There were some misunderstandings with the vaccination record of my dog and her Heartguard medication and Dr. White was not a big fan of what I had been doing under my other vet. I generally give our dogs their yearly vaccinations myself instead of the vet doing it. Dr. White actually got in a huge argument with me in his waiting room about how I shouldnt be doing that and it is illegal to do. Not in Nebraska and not in Nevada where I had lived either and honestly I dont think it is illegal here either, but being new here I wont argue that (he eventually backpedaled on that one).... Really had a little scorn in his voice when he spoke of my vet in Nebraska. I had a full shot record but because I didnt know what exactly Leptospirosis was (but I know they should be vaccinated against it, which he even agreed that he would give it to them as well) he didnt feel that I should be giving them the vaccine. Needless to say after a 10 minute argument with my two young children there the entire time I took my record and walked out and will not be going back. I would not recommend Dr. White to anyone. He seemed reasonably competent as a veterinarian but really spoke down to me about caring for my animals (didnt like the brand of vaccines that I had been giving my dogs) and actually charged what I thought was a high price for the services provided, especially considering the way that he spoke to me. I figured I might get a discount after that.

Ive been taking my golden retriever, Buddy, to Dr. White since 2004 and my beagle, Lightning, since 2009. Both Buddy and Lightning are living happy, healthy lives because Dr. White has never steered me wrong with their care. He gives me great advice on caring for my dog and I fully trust him to continue treating them. Additionally, the veterinarian technicians are very friendly and hospitable and do everything they can to accommodate their clients. I highly recommend Dr. White and his staff at the Animal Health Care Clinic
