I can not begin to tell you just how much I love this office! Everyone in this office is welcoming and make you feel at ease! They work together as a team and make you feel as though your apart of their family. The first time I met Dr. O I was having a problem with a front tooth. Ive always seen Dr. King for any problems and now having to meet a new doctor for a front tooth had my anxiety at an all time high. The diagnosis was to to have a root canal done. I must admit I was more than terrified to have this procedure done. I have heard all the horror stories and this did not help my situation at all. Dr. O told me that he would walk me through this every step of the way. He could tell by my tear filled eyes that I was terrified, but would trust him to do this. He did as he promised. He took his time and talked to me during every step. I also had to have that dreadful shot in the roof of my mouth. I can tell you with all honesty that I never felt that injection. Unbelievable I know but its true! If you need an office that treats you with respect and values you as their patient then this is the office for you! If you need a doctor who talks to you and not at you then this is the office for you. Give them a call and see for yourself! Let Dr. O talk you through your dental treatment.

Both new owners/dentists are charming, capable, and delightful to be around. I really enjoyed my time there. They were efficient in doing the work needing to be done and personal while still being professional. I like that they talk to their hygienists in conversation during work rather than doing the work in complete silence, which I think is more nerve racking. That may be something they have to read each patient by though because some people dont like having their doctors be chatty. I really like the way the place is run though and will be continuing to go there as long as I live close enough to.

This would only make sense to people who live in Winchester but my daughter started having tooth pain during the start of Apple Blossom weekend. The whole town shuts down. I called and someone answered and told us to come on in. When I told them I was surprised they were open, they said that the office was actually closed but that she was the dentist and is just doing paperwork and she would be happy to see my daughter. She could have easily said they were closed. We were taken care of and never felt rushed or that we were a nuisance. A great experience and I would highly recommend this office.

Dr Amber is so sweet and kind; she is very knowledgeable and works with you to find the best most affordable option with no pressure. I have been to dentist offices where they will push you into the most expensive option with suboptimal results. This is not that office! I loved my hygienist Diana she was kind gentle and understanding. I will go back for her every six months with bells on (and I HATE dentist offices). If you are a dental hicken, go to this office they treat you with kidsgloves.

This was the first time I have every been to this practice and they were able to get me in the same day! That is pretty unheard of for dentist/doctors offices. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I saw Dr. Amber and she was just great, she explained everything to me to a point where I had no questions or concerns in the end. Even the dental hygienist Amanda was great! I would HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist thats professional and so kind.

From one clinician, about another, I have no doubt in Dr. Oestervembs prowess. Being a perfectionist in my field, I readily recognize the trait and have confidence in his counsel, and look forward to a great result. My subsequent visit was for an extraction of a split tooth: it was painless and fast. Dr. Oestervemb is skilled, confident, friendly, and very thorough in advice and client education. I highly recommend looking no further for a dentist than here.

I have been going to this practice for several years and my regular dental hygienist Diane and Dr. King are always so pleasant and provide great care, and the ladies in the front office are very friendly and personable. I highly recommend this practice to others. I have not actually met Dr. O or Dr. Amber yet since today was my first checkup since they became owners, but I have heard great things about them. I wish them continued success!

I called the kind folks at Smiles of Virginia Family Dental Center at 4:10pm for an emergency first-time patient visit and was in a chair by 4:30pm. The staff was helpful and professional. The dentist took extra care, time, and effort to determine the cause of the problem, to develop a solution, and to deliver the solution all while working past closing time. Im very grateful for all of their efforts to make my experience a pleasant one.

Smiles of Virginia staff members were very friendly. I felt sincerely welcomed. The entire office is kept neat and clean. The receptionist that schedules appointments is the heart of the place. Shes a wonderful woman. The new owners are smart and precise. You honestly feel as though they care. I would definitely recommend Smiles for anyone in search of a dentist in the area. They even gave me free chapstick when I left. Great place!

I havent been to the dentist in 13 years due to the fact I am so very scared of the dentist. I did the sedation dentistry, and had lots and lots of dental work done. I dont remember a thing it was amazing! Dr O and his staff are remarkable! I no longer have the fear I once did of the dentist! I would give this place more than five stars if I could! I would highly recommend going to this office for any of your dental needs

My first experience with Smiles of Virginia was great. After being a client of Dr. Kings for over ten years, I was pleasantly surprised by the new owners. Dr. "Amber" went out of her way to fix a minor cosmetic issue with my front teeth that had been there for years. In less than five minutes I had a new smile and new confidence in upcoming appointments. If this kind of service continues, I will gladly refer my friends here.

Dr. Amber DeWeerd and the lady who helped her(I hate it bit I cant remember her name) they were so awesome and walked me through step by step and it was the best dentist visit in my life by far!! 5 out of 5!
