What a blessing Kathy Hess has been to me! I suffered from shoulder pain from both shoulders for almost 1 1/2 years. I saw doctors, physical therapists recommended by my doctors, and massage therapists. I had acupuncture, MRIs, and xrays. Because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, most just assumed it was RA related. No one was able to give me any relief. Sleeping was an impossibility. Then I met Kathy. I was hesitant to even mention it to Kathy as I had already been seen by a physical therapist. But Kathy knew immediately what the problem was and within 4 visits, I was back to normal. And by the way, it had nothing to do with my RA. I call Kathy ``The Body Whisperer``. She does not treat like any other physical therapist. She does not just fix the problem. She spends time, uncovering the root of the problem and starts there. Then she educates and equips her patients so they can do proper exercises from home, minimizing your PT visits. Needless to say, I am grateful beyond words. Kathys expertise is astounding. Her code of ethics is impressive. And her heart to serve is immeasurable.

What an experience. Kathy is not a normal physical therapist. She knows the human body so well that she can get down to the bottom of the problem youre having rather than treating symptoms like most others. She taught me how to walk again which is strange to say but over the years we start twisting and turning and the next thing you know our bodies are all out of alignment. This helped my plantar fasciitis and weak hip. Kathy helped figure all of that out. I highly recommend that everyone get a checkup with Kathy even though you may not think anything is wrong... yet.

Last week I fell and twisted my shoulder. After a few days, the pain had decreased and I realized I was able to move my arm above my shoulder for the first time in awhile. Luckily, I met Kathy Hess from Still Waters Physical Therapy. She was quick to point out my movements were forced and unnatural and could lead to further complications. Kathy is so experienced and skilled at what she does, she is quicky capable of evaluating an issue and discussing corrective therapies to get the body to move more easily and naturally. She truly is your neighborhood body mechanic.
