Zooming Ballet

From an early childhood experience I developed a very strong anxiety and fear toward going to the dentist. It had been years since I had gone. And then I met Dr. Timothy Chaffee and Karla one of the hygienists. Myself and my 8 year old have been to see them. Both of us needed several things done and they were amazing. I cried after one of our visits because I was soooo happy with the sincere care we received. My son is equally at ease when in their care. My appreciation is over the moon. I will always have the anxiety. But the trust I have in Dr. Chaffee is priceless. He is amazing and so is everyone else in the office. From the front desk making sure you have clarity regarding the financials, to the doctor explaining all he is doing - this is a top notch office. No there are not video games in the lobby or flats teens for videos on the ceiling, but there is a team of dedicated professionals waiting to provide the most excellent service possible each and every time you visit. I cant wait to go back for my cleaning. My procrastination days are over!!!!

I stopped going here about 12 months ago. First reason... Teeth X-ray. They forgot to put the protective vest over me for the first shot of X-rays. Then the assistant screwed it up so bad they had to re-do the whole thing again. The main dentist there at the time, he may have left now, is a joke. The least knowledgeable dentist Ive ever had and would rather talk about his boring AF weekends than actually do his job. I get it, conversation is great, but I really dont care about your wifes clothing line Ive never heard of or how much I should consider cosmetic dental work to fix perfectly normal, functional teeth! third... If I say I dont want a fluoride treatment then dont go ahead and sneak one in or charge me for it. Anyway, the whole experience was bad. Maybe this place has changed but for me it was a nightmare. Oh and stop sending me reminders about appointments I never made! I now go across the street to Lakeland Hills Dental Care which is sublime compared to Gentle Dental. I highly recommend it.

I cant say enough good things about this clinic and Dr. Chaffee. I was already impressed, he and the assistants and so knowledgeable and kind and open and honest. They take their time with you and really explain things in a way you can understand. And now, Dr. Chaffee figured out a repetitive gum infection Ive had for 12 years! Seriously. Ive been to specialists, lots of dentists, Ive had big 360 head x-rays, nothing. No one else figured it out. He took one look while it was infected and saw the abscess tunnel and is sending me to their gum specialist. I am elated and I nearly cried tears of joy in their office after having so many people not listen to me when I told them there had to be something wrong that needs fixing! My teeth are in excellent shape and there was no other reason for an infection to keep coming back! I highly highly recommend this office, and Ive never had a dentist that I would have recommended the same way I recommend this one. Seriously they are awesome!

In early July somebody trying to earn an appointment spiff scheduled me for a cleaning - without ever calling me. I received a reminder call for a non-existent appointment. I called and said I had no appointment. I then received a call the day of the appointment asking me where I was - again, I repeated I had no appointment. Then this week I received a BILL for a missed appointment - again, an appointment I NEVER HAD. I had to call again and they said - oh, you missed your appointment. Good grief!! Bad business practices.
