When my kindergartner was sent home with a note saying his vision screening showed problems, we were shocked. Hed never squinted or complained. Dr. Meyer at the West Seattle Highline Eye Clinic examined him and determined he was signficantly near sighted and also had a "lazy eye". There was a much more official diagnosis but I left the pronunciation and recollection of the word in the hands of Dr. Meyer! He not only put my rather intense and frightened child completely at ease, he took the time to explain what was happening to me. He even helped me not feel guilty for failing to notice something so significant. Over 2 years he advised various patching regimes AND managed to inspire my child to stick to them. Our sons vision is much improved and this could be a lifetime benefit that only had a short window of time to correct. I cant thank Dr. Meyer enough!

In the 70 years that I have been visiting the offices of ophthalmologists in Washington, California, Colorado, New Jersey, Connecticut and Texas, I have never gone to a better Dr. than Dr. Meyer in Burien. His office is clean and neat, he is always very thorough and friendly and always takes the time to answer every question that I may have for him. Those who work with him are very polite and caring and efficient. I have the highest respect for him and can recommend him to every friend of mine who is looking for a fine ophthalmologist. As a matter of fact, again today I recommended him to another newcomer to my area who recently moved here from Helena, Montana.

Too hard to get a hold of if you are a new patient. I called and left voicemails severals times and emailed them, but never heard back from them. Went to automated voicemail system every time.
