Long time reader, first time writer. That being said, my experience with 8 to 8 was such a frustration yesterday that it has lead me to comment for my first time. My reason for first reaching out to them was to get a filling on my front tooth that chipped fixed. A simple procedure that Ive had done more times than I can count. When I first called 8 to 8, I was told that in order to get my tooth fixed I first needed to have x-rays and the like done. After this the Dr. should be able to get to my broken tooth. Since my main motivation was to stop looking like a hillbilly (I am sort of one, it just makes it easier not to look like one) and get my tooth fixed, I pushed them on this and the gal I talked with said it shouldnt be an issue. 8 hours later and having chatted with three other folks with 8 to 8, I was told the x-rays were vital because the Dr needs to diagnose anything before he can start work. Funny that, as I thought a chipped front tooth was a bit of a give away. When talking to the 4th front desk individual it finally came out that I would be seen at the same time as 3 other individuals, all for the same Dr. So everything that I was told before about potentially getting my tooth fixed that same day was crap. What it really comes down to is exactly what a previous poster said, 8 to 8 is a scam. They lure you in with a "only $29 first visit!" during such visit the nurses do all the hard work and Dr tells you all the things that are wrong with your teeth, "so lets book you next week to start getting all this taken care of!" Drs might be great, the quality of the work might be top notch, my frustration was from the utter lack of transparency of whether they could help me do what I as the customer wanted done. Horrible place.

I asked for a regular cleaning as a new patient and they set up an appointment. After I showed up and got an exam, they said they recommended a deep cleaning and filling some grooves in my teeth. I asked if I could just get the regular cleaning I had planned and think about the extra work for next time and they said that the first appointment is just a checkup and there was no time for cleaning. I feel like I wasted my time. They also used up all the x-rays my insurance would cover for the next 5 years which would make it harder to get a second opinion. They are typical dentists I feel, trying to upsell me on a bunch of optional stuff with the attitude that I should not question it. I did specifically chose this dentist because their yelp reviews sounded like they were pretty good at not up selling unneeded stuff, so I dont know. EDIT: +1 star I did end up talking them into just doing the regular cleaning and they did a nice job. Im considering their suggested extra cleaning/fillings for the future. They also noticed my less than perfect comment and reached out to me. I am going to keep going to them, I just initially felt like they could have communicated better.

Ive been having some significant discomfort (slight pain) with one of my wisdom teeth. My previous dentist told me Id likely need an oral surgeon to perform the operation, due to how far my tooth roots go down in my jaw and into the major nerve. Most oral surgeons require a referral first, and so I called 8 to 8 (found them on google/based on proximity to my house). They dont accept state insurance but were having a pretty great special on new patients/exams and x-rays. They were able to get me in the same day! Only a few hours after I called! They were expedient, friendly, and very efficient. I only spent about 40 minutes in the clinic, including filling out new patient paperwork through receiving my exam and referral. Dr. Park was very kind and answered all my questions. When their card reader couldnt process my transaction (I had plenty of money in the bank) they accepted the cash I had on me and wrote off the small difference. I wish they accepted state insurance, but overall I had a great experience. Incredibly clean, professional and friendly service, and highly efficient. I definitely recommend to anyone in the area (:

Lived up to the reviews! Amazing facility, staff and pricing. Membership plan is key for those of us without insurance. Cost me $412 for two composite fillings and a cleaning. Seriously reasonable. Ive actually paid more when I had dental insurance. Doctor and assistant were friendly and knowledgable. Clean, great atmosphere, high tech equipment. I love this place and will recommend 8to8 to everyone. They also have a $29 exam/x-ray special for first time patients. Awesome! *Edit - ive read the negative reviews and they all seem centered around the fact that the office will not do a cleaning without first doing an exam/x-ray. Thats how it is everywhere, at least every office ive been to in the last 20 years. Yearly exam and x-ray are always required. I see nothing wrong with that - if anything, I am wary of a place that will send their soldiers into battle without first knowing what the field looks like.

This is my first google review. I had to write on because this place is AWESOME! would have come here regularly but Im only in seattle for the summer :( The 29 dollar checkup was great. I got all my questions answered and they really took their time. Because this was a promo, I had expected it to be quick, but no, it was like a regular checkup. I think it took an hour in total? They really made sure the xrays were all correct and I had like 20ish minutes with Dr.Park (I only had some basic questions that I wanted to ask, if you had more, Im sure he would have been very accommodating) Dr.Park is so nice and friendly. Would recommend him so much! I was kind of nervous but he and his assistant, Isaiah, were so so so friendly and very helpful and eased the anxiety. Would recommend this place 100%.

This was a very professional and kind dentist office. I found them just walking by and in need of a tooth cleaning. Stopping in, I was well greeted, smoothly set an appointment, and made fully aware of all notifications (regarding a reminder call, the need to arrive early to complete forms, notice of any payment that would be due at the time of my appointment, etc.). At my appointment itself, I received the most welcome and kind treatment from the dental assistant and the dentist herself. Everything was explained and no questions were left unanswered. I felt completely confident in the ability of EVERYONE at the office from front desk staff to the dentist. I look forward to my 6-month check up and have already recommended this office to friends and co-workers.

I LOVED my visit to 8 to 8 Dental! I didnt care for my last dentist, so I quit going a couple of years ago. (Bad, I know!) I was nervous to start with a new dentist; but now, I have a great new dentist and staff! Everyone who worked on me was very professional--yet down-to-earth and fun. When I set up my appointment and then made my first trip to the office, the receptionist, Jason, made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The hygienist, Isaiah, was gentle and did a thorough job. Dr. Chang was very flexible with my dental requests, and answered questions, giving me information to consider for my needs. I felt I was in good hands. I recommend Dr. Chang and this office unreservedly! (Dont put it off!)
