First of all, Ive been seeing chiropractors for over 10 years (when I would keep my posture healthy while marching with a 40lb drum), so I have a good idea of what I look for in a practice. Dr. Michael and his staff are fantastic. Ive had less luck elsewhere in Seattle - after 2 visits (I have some bad back pain issues and required X-rays before follow up) I can tell Ill be very pleased here with my care and recovery. The practice has apparently been up and running for 34+ years and you can really tell! Kindness, experience, follow through. I highly recommend Greenwood Chiropractic. PS: it seems some low reviews came for and groupon message - take those reviews with a grain of salt, im almost positive they did not have clear expectations of a therapeutic message at a doctor for spinal health vs. a spa message.

Horrible Customer service!!! Horrible Business. I had a Groupon to have a wellness exam, adjustment and a deep tissue massage. The Dr. gave me a 10 min. exam then told me to come back for the massage and I was dismissed when I asked about the adjustment. I had to cancel the massage appointment and when I called the Dr. got on the phone and went crazy, telling me how much it was going to cost him for me not coming in. I then said well since I wasnt coming back he would save money since I wouldnt be getting my massage and my adjustment. Later in the day the Dr. called me back and apologized for his phone call and asked me to make an appointment for the massage. After 3 calls to reschedule and leaving my name they never called me back. WOW! guess the apology was really heartfelt.

This is a scam. Do not use this clinic, or at least do so forewarned. Firstly, they are not upfront about their charges and they double bill you. Super fun. You may also find a few creative charges to your account. Secondly, Dr. Michaels is very sexist. He speaks down to women and will try to force services on you. If you do go, be ready to bargain and make sure the doctor signs bills or at least get pictures and written receipts for everything. Ask if hot packs cost money. Ask if everything will cost you, because even the peppermints do somehow. There are legal remedies available to you to correct these issues, but at least be ready going into it.

I went for a massage that I had gotten off of groupon (red flag no. one maybe) and it was the least relaxing massage Ive ever experienced. First, it smelled like cigarette smoke inside the building. Then, because its a chiropractic clinic as well, I had to speak with their doctor who was unhelpful and seemingly had no interest in actually listening to what was bothering my body. Then the massage itself was mediocre at best. The masseuse didnt use enough lotion/oil and the room wasnt insulated from the noise outside or in the waiting room. I probably wouldve been more relaxed in almost any other situation.

Dr. Michael and his staff are wonderful. I had never been to a chiropractor before and had reservations about it, but I had this shoulder issue, that I had to find a solution to. Dr. Michael is a kind gentle soul who I was comfortable with and felt like I had kown him for years. After 2 months I feel fantastic, I can even wear high heels again, and I didnt go in for the ankle issue, but it isnt an issue anymore. I reccommend going to see them. They are flexible with schedules and work with you on payments.

If I could put 0 stars I would!! I called and made an appointment over a month in advance. When the day came they claimed they had no record of me and refused to help. The only thing they would do is try to get me to book another appointment yet ANOTHER MONTH away. All the while obviously and condescendingly implying that I had never booked an appointment in the first place. NEVER apologizing for having lost my information and booking someone in my place.
