I saw this dentist since I was 5 years old. I always had fair experiences until I got older. My first bad experience, he said I had a cavity and while giving me the antastetic he struck my nerve. Over the next few years every time I scheduled a cleaning I would have 2 cavities and I take very good care of my teeth. I would go get them filled and it would always be extremely uncomfortable for me. Then about two months ago I came in for my regular cleaning and I mysteriously had 8 cavities. I went and got a second opinion and it turns out I only had 3. They werent true cavities but close. After all this I switched dentists. Also, he flaunts his material possessions and has a new "toy" every time I came for a cleaning. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone after 15 years of experiencing this "professional environment".

Dr. Banks practice is a model of what a "Top of the Line" dental experience should be. I have been with his practice for many years. The experience starts with the reception desk and a warm greeting. Appointments are kept "On Time". All staff members I have ever had contact with respond in the same attentive, courteous manner. Look around the waiting room and see first hand the results of Dr. Banks and his staffs expertise in creating Smile Designs. My daughters picture is there displaying "for the First time" a full-teeth showing smile instead of lips clamped together. You cant imagine the boost in her self-esteem! My experience was nothing but outstanding, with the Dr and the Dentist Assistants. Dr Banks informed me on everything that was going to be done and the Dentist Hygienist was very informed also on what procedures she was going to do. My second appointment which was within a week of my first was outstanding again. Dr Banks and the staff at Smile Designs of Shenandoah valley makes a patient feel very comfortable about going to the Dentist. I hate to admit this but I would have to say that I totally enjoyed my visit to Smile Designs of Shenandoah valley. Specially since I am one who hates going to the dentist.

I detest going to the dentist, I dont think many people look forward to it. Ive always had issues with my teeth, ever since I was very young. Dr. Banks and his staff make the whole process a little less painful and take most of the stress out of a visit to the dentist. Im not an expert, but they seem to be very up to date with their technology. Ive had my fair share of fillings, Im in and out faster every time. They are very professional, I almost never wait past the time of my appointment. Extremely friendly and personable staff. I would never consider going anywhere else!

Myself and my children,my daughter Alex and my son Chris Jenkins, have been patients of Dr. Banks ever since he opened his practice. I wouldnt have it any other way. Kind, efficient, friendly but most of all have had the best medical service every time. The kids have been going to him ever since they were able to go to a dentist and have never bulked on going to him, not one time. We all would highly recommend this classy, upscale dentist and feel very special that he and his entire staff treat us so well.

Ive been going to Dr. Banks for years, and it is always a very pleasant experience. The ladies at the reception desk are welcoming and accommodating and even greet me by name even though Im only there twice a year now. The hygienists are very thorough with their cleaning and both dr. Christopher Banks and Dr. Ken Banks are very thorough, take the time necessary to really correct any issues you have, and address all of your dental concerns. Great place to go!

I am not a regular patient of this office, and I had an emergency veneer replacement this morning. I called the office at around 9:30, they got me in by 10:30, and by 11:30 I was back home with my kids. The staff was professional and courteous. The Dr was kind and proficient. The work was done with a very reasonable price. I am very grateful to this office and its staff for saving my smile. :)
