FINALLY, THOROUGH, CARING, AFFORDABLE VETS....AND THEYRE ARE NOT ALARMISTS! I switched to AAH after 15 years with same vet mainly because my dog had chRonic ear infections. theyd treat him with SAME ear drops always, and itd be back within two weeks. I rescued a second dog who developed an ear infection.... SAME treatment, no tests, no results! That was it. Time for New doctors. My sister referred me to AAH and it was the BEST change I ever made. Dr. Wright saw my newest rescue, took ear cultures, found exactly what was causing the ear infection, had drops made accordingly and gave her an oral antibiotic. Problem solved. Dr. Roiland saw my old man...17 1/2 yr old poodle/lab mix with doggie dementia. He was informative, honest and yet very encouraging. Put him on vitamins and natural supplements to help with kidney & liver function, help with arthritis, and mood behavior. Completely put the trot back in his step. I CANNOT say enough about Dr. R & Dr. W. Just really wonderful, caring, doctors. Im very grateful that I found them! A+++++++

I came to Amityville Animal Hospital on a whim after moving to the area. My dog was having some intestinal distress that had me really concerned. The staff and the doctors treated me and my pet with so much respect and kindness. I loved that the doctor was so passionate about animals and explained everything to me as he was doing the exam to put me at ease. He gave me great information about what was going on with my dog, how to treat it and prevent it in the future. I felt like he was on my level and didnt talk down to me. If only MY doctors were this awesome! Im actually looking forward to the next trip. :)

By far, the best veterinarians around! Dr. Roiland and Dr. Wright are incredibly knowledgable, genuinely care about the dogs (and other animals Im sure ;-), take the time to explain all options to the owners, and are reasonably priced. We all know dogs arent cheap, so they do their best to keep the costs down while never compromising on the care! I recommend them to everyone I know and will continue to do so!
