THIS IS NOT A PLACE YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN TO, LET ME FURTHER EXPLAIN. My wife and I found Mrs Apun "I wont refer to her as a doctor as she doesnt deserve that privilege". She was treating my 7 year old as well as my 19 month old. Her office is very unorganized, worse than I have ever seen. Her ways of practice are very awkward and not professional. She walked into the room while we were waiting for the usual 45 minutes, tell my wife your daughter has PDD and is Autistic and walks out. A week before this one of her workers tells my wife that the reason your daughter is behind is due to the fact that you dont spend enough time with her, my wife is a stay at home mom!!! We knew something else was wrong that is why we insisted on seeing Apun herself. She was cold as ice and this made us rather upset. We requested a copy of both of our kids records and she tried charging us an insane amount of money. I went their face to face and she wound up giving them to me as I was rather loud in her office. Her practice should be shut down and she should be retrained.

I started taking my daughter to Dr. Apun after being a patient at Huntington Family Medical Group (Peds Department) for 8 year, where I took her several times with this strange rash that she had all over her body. They kept telling me that she had an allergic reaction to something and to give her Benedryl. The rash continued for almost 2 weeks... kept taking her. They didnt ever request an allergy panel to be done, just kept telling me to keep giving her Benedryl. My friend who has children that use Dr. Apun told me to take her to the ER, upon doing that the physician told me that what my daughter had was not an allergic reaction, but Scarlet Fever. They then referred me to Apun. Ive been thoroughly satisfied with her and her staff. Unlike other physicians offices, Ive never had to sit and wait hours to be seen. She is a little stale and doesnt smile much, but shes a great doctor.

Man this place is terrible. I am not to sure about Dr. Apon herself, besides the fact telling me that my daughter had a fever because she was "getting taller" (shes 6). Makes no sense because a day later she had the most painful stomach aches and diarrhea for like 2 days, crazy. But Her Employees or whoever handles the front desk, If i can give -0 stars i would. I have like 4 months still trying to get records and or fax anything to them. They have the same excuse, they rush you over the phone, they have attitudes, seems like even breathing is a problem as well. They love stalling (as you can see, still trying to get records from my daughter). Their fax machine has not been working, and they are VERY aware, for months now. You cant get it fixed? or find an alternative? Jesus, Ive been through so much hassle with these people, wondering if i should report them.

Well, Al Citron is being untruthful. None of what he says happened. His childrens issues were discussed in great detail and handled sensitively. His request for records were granted for a nominal fee, and when it came to pay, he lied that the doctor okd his not paying. So not only does he fib, he cheats. So keep that in mind when reading his review.

Dr Apun had been my pediatrician for the last ten years. I cant say enough good things about her and the entire staff. She is always putting my mind at ease and explaining everything in detail to me. Im stumped as to why someone could leave a bad review on here. Anyone with half a brain that goes to dr Apun is sure to love her!
