I am writing this review as a result of my dental implant surgery. Six years ago I broke a crowned tooth while flossing. My crown came off taking the top of my tooth with it. At that time I discussed my care alternatives but since it was around the holidays we attempted to cement the tooth/crown back on. It actually worked for six years! From time to time during my visits we discussed what to do long term. Recently the tooth (finally) came off. It was decision time. Dr. Kuzmin and staff clearly outlined the options I had and answered all my questions. In the end it was a personal decision. I opted for the implant surgery. (I was happy the tooth stayed on for six years!) The procedure seemed to go much faster than I expected. I was prepared for more discomfort than I actually experienced. Dr. Kuzmin and assistants worked quickly and professionally. The day of the surgery Dr. Kuzmin called my home to check up. I told him I was amazed that I really couldnt feel any pain or discomfort. I was prepared for some pain for the following few days. Now that it has been one week since the surgery I can say there was really no significant discomfort. I took ibuprofen for any soreness I had. I just went to my one week follow up. Everything is healing fine. I told Dr. Kuzmin I was happy I decided on the implant. Thanks to Dr. Kuzmin and Staff! Jim Cavanaugh Torrington CT.

On our local radio recently there has been an ad about how "everybody hates the dentist." I always laugh when I hear it, because I truly love the dentist. The 2 hours or so I spend in Gayles chair for my cleaning each year, are really very enjoyable. Gayle is always so friendly (as is the rest of the staff) and I love sharing "adventures" with her. I always look forward to my appointments and I know that I will have a good experience. I am probably one of the worlds most impatient people and I cant think of even one time that Ive ever had to wait for more than 5 or 10 minutes- tops!. The office always somehow seems to run on time, which I cant say about any of my other health care providers. :) If you are looking for a great dentist in the Torrington area, with caring staff that always seems to be up on the newest dental gadgets, I very highly recommend Torrington Dental Care.

I had been looking in the area for a dentist to perform cosmetic work on my front teeth. After an exhaustive search, I met with Dr Kuzmin for a consultation. I immediately felt comfortable with him and his staff. He was attentive and patient. I felt he was truly concerned in achieving the best possible outcome for me. I decided to have Dr Kuzmin perform my dental work and I am extremely glad I made that decision. The final result is natural looking and very complementary to my smile. I have received many compliments about how good the new teeth look. In addition, Dr Kuzmin called me himself to check in and ask how I was doing one week following the procedure. I truly feel that he is a very skilled dentist. I also feel that he is personally invested in the successful treatment of each of his patients. I highly recommend him.

Torrington Dental Care was a wonderful experience for me! From the receptionist to the Dentist and all in between, they helped me with compassion and professional courtesy every step of the way. I have severe dental phobia but the dental assistants have a way of calming the patients and fear is quickly eliminated from the equation. Dr. Kuzmin is the only dentist for me from now on. Give them a try, youll be surprised how well you are treated .... I was!
