I took my senior cat to this vet yesterday, he was having fever, losing appetite and was not able to walk really well. Dr. Thomson and her staff was super friendly and supportive, they worked hard to diagnostic my cats issues and improve his health, they kept in contact with me all day, giving realistic feedback and keeping me aware of the situation. My cat is doing great thanks to Brooklyn Heights Veterinary Hospital. I found Dr. Thomson to be knowledgeable and caring, she answered all my questions and she offered several options to my unique problem. This vet has a great facility and a reasonable price for Brooklyn Heights, everything was perfect and they dont seem to treat your animal based on moneymaking practices, their working hours is convenient too, I was able to pickup my cat after 8PM on the same day which for me was great!

The Vets here are fantastic. They care for the animals and do things for the better of them, not their bank account. I take both my cats here when needed (recently, it was really needed as one cat was blocked, even fitting me in on a day when they were full) and they have done a great job. They listen to your needs (money wise or any other way), they keep in constant contact with you if they have to keep your pet for an extended stay, and are very willing to work with you and whatever your unique situation is to keep your pets healthy. Five stars all day long.

THE BEST VET HOSPITAL!!! I am an over protective mom of 2 high maintenance pups - Every single aspect of this place is incredible. Every person is SO kind, any questions or concerns are patiently addressed, all procedures are explained thoroughly, and making an appt is super easy. The greatest observation- their empathy for their patients. They do not rush anything, and never physically overpower an animal to do a procedure (i.e. A squirmy pup terrified of getting her nails clipped) Do not hesitate to visit them, you will not regret it!

BHVH is wonderful. They took great care of my cat and even followed up to monitor his recovery in the days that followed. They are, by far, the best vet hospital that I have used. I highly recommend taking your pet here for routine checkups or more complicated procedures. Dr. Thomson is terrific and so is the staff.

It took 2 years and many searches to find a vet I liked and trusted as much as the vet I had had in California for 14 years. Dr.Thomson and her staff are amazing, and I am eternally grateful for all of them, and so are my soon to be 13 year old and 18 year old cats! I would highly recommend this practice.
