For the most part I agree with everything that was stated previously...with the exception of the sexual comments. ....he completely couldnt care less about you as a person or if you are receiving adequate pain relief....its absolutely true about his mood reflecting the way he treats you...I usually seen his associate, Brandy, who is absolutely fabulous, she is an excellent doctor who cares about both you and your level of pain and pain relief. I had been a patient at his office for 7 years and my last appointment was in Febrluary of this year and was told that he wasnt prescribing ANYMORE Opanas (oxymorphone) to ANY of his patients!!! He put me on something else but it wasnt strong enough.....I literally Am in tears EVERYDAY!!!!! When I told him this at my recheck appointment, he point blank said l dont care....that adequate pain control is no longer a consideration.....WTH??? I thought thats what pain management is for..... So he sent me home with a one month supply of the medicine that doesnt work and told me to go find another doctor who will give me what I was on cuz he WILL NOT....WILL NOT give ANYONE anymore Opana (oxymorphone) ....oh, and I asked him if he would cover my pain melds until , Im able to get into see a new doctor, which sometimes can be a few months.....he actually laughed...LAUGHED....and told me that it doesnt take that long to get into one and that if it does then Im not trying!!! So people....I beg you.....hear my words.....DO NOT GO HERE.....if you are in actual pain and want a doctor who will actually try to help you......PLEASE...PLEASE....PLEASE.....go somewhere else!!!

My car accident was 2004 and I was 22 years old .. broke my neck.. shoulder.. hip..collar bone! Had several surgerys! Started pain management with dr M and his wife Debbie.. I never actually seen the Doc.. only Debbie.. she was a very nice person.. and prescribed me hydrocodine 10mg.. and for a year she kept pushing me over n over to start taking oxys... I denied.. but had another surgery and my pain was horrible!! Finally she pushed opana on me.. giving me a full script of 40mg a month.. plus giving me 15mg opana for break thru pain.. while telling me she didnt wanna get me hooked on them.. she never told me the consequences.. I ended up one time smoking a joint n was kicked out.. they never helped me taper down.. nothing..I was so sick n so young.. I turned into a heroin addict and suffered with this addiction for almost 5 yrs now! Thank u Debbie for helping this young girl

DO NOT GO TO HIM. He is one of the worst doctors to go to. First of all, all he cares is money and is extremely arrogant. He will talk about you and your personal business in front of other people and embarrass you. He also prescribes drugs and completely does not care about your well-being. His treatment toward you depends on his mood that day which most of the time is bad. He does not respect you as his patient and does not want to get to know you and your health history. Save your nerves and do not go to him. He will just disrespect you and act like he knows everything, even though he does not. He also asks inappropriate sexual questions which have nothing to do with your health. DO NOT GO TO HIM. YOU DESERVE BETTER. HE IS HORRIBLE.

been a patient for many years !! this Doc has strict rules however you want to see it... do your part they do their part .... if you dont like the doc find another is his attitude! and there is nothing wrong with that as this fit may not be for your treatment .. and believe me i have been infront of the doc and he will read you your rights and has lol.. and you may feel a tad bit embarrassed but it is what it is ...follow the doc orders you wont have no worries... 1joint will have you tossed ya may want to check other pain management docs their even worse with their policies !! js ..

Excellent physician. Excellent for pain management. Very knowledgeable in many medical areas. Wish I had started with him first. I received excellent care, diagnosis, treatment options for what surgery will be and best time for my surgery. Gave me more information than all Specialists in this medical area of what I need. So very happy that I got his 2nd opinion!

Dr. Andrew Matteliano is a grate man of integrity. He truly cares for his patients. I requested a stronger pain med a couple times. Mr. Mattleiano refused to prescribe it and told me why. His office staff are always professional and courteous. Being under his care is a privilege. Theodore W. Munir
