I have been a patient of Dr Rothenbergs for a long time. My perspective comes from diverse treatments over the course of several years. I started with Dr. Rothenberg when he was a new young dentist in a small office on Genesee St . Over the course of time I have witnessed both changes and constants. I have seen the office move from Genesee Street to its large currant location at 7197 Highbridge Rd, expand from two small spartan treatment rooms to eight state of the art treatment rooms, from a staff of two to a staff of ten,from paper based technology to digital, and from standard to green dentistry. In short Dr Rothenbergs TLC Dental Group has always embraced continuing advances in modern dentistry. But even though the office has all these modern changes and has grown from Dr Rothenbergs office to the TLC Dental Group , there have been constants. I have always felt part of the family of patients rather than a mere number. The front desk has always been warm and efficient and an effective champion of my interest with insurance companies. The hygienists have always been gentle, professional, and genuinely devoted to both my general and dental health. Dr Rothenberg has always had a heartfelt concern for my well being in a range of comfortable and successful treatments. The mantra of TLC rings forever true: "We Cater to Cowards." They really do define "Gentle Dental" as well as "Affordable Dental." I hope you find this review of the TLC Dental Group helpful. It is probably longer than most reviews only because it reflects my long and grateful years of being a patient. I

I dont know why this is in my daughters name - perhaps b/c she set up my computer? I am Cynthia Henry, and have been a patient of Dr. Rothenberg for several years and I hope to be his patient for the rest of my life. Dr. Rothenberg is the most gentle dentist I have ever had, and I am a senior citizen, so that is saying something. I love all the staff - they are all extremely knowledgeable, understandable, and helpful. All the hygienists who have cleaned my teeth have been great; you really cant ask for more. I particularly love Louise DeGaetano for her attention to every concern I have. She couldnt be more thorough, and I always know if there is anything to be concerned about, she will point it out right away. (also enjoy the music in her exam room!) It is such a comfort to know that a really good dental office in our area is available, and that they are willing to forfeit part of their fees, if insurance coverage wont pay the full amount, so that people can afford dental care.

I arrived today for a 11:00AM appointment to fill a cavity. I expected to wait as I do for my other doctors in town, but was greeted right away! This office runs like clockwork. The dental hygienists are friendly and competent. Louise and Sam are usually who I see. They berate me for not flossing and brushing, and catch the cavities that develop as a result. Dr. Rothenberg has excellent "bedside" manners in calming your anxieties. He doesnt berate me. He just says it would be a shame to lose all my dental work to gum disease. Im 62 and have had many dentists in many cities. This office is well run and well staffed. Oh, I almost forgot Jill. She makes sure the fillings and crowns are flush and fit, and does a great job after Dr. Steve is done drilling the wells. Most important, Ive never had a billing error. I dont know that he is accepting new patients, but I highly recommend if you are looking for a great dental practice.

I have been fearful of the dentist for over 40 years and have let my teeth go because of it. But at TLC Dental Group, Dr. Rothenberg has a method of injecting the shot with almost no pain! He numbs your gum first, then slowly injects the Novocaine, and there is no stabbing pain! The people there are so kind and thoughtful, it is a pleasure to be at this facility. For the first time in years, I actually am losing my fear of going to the dentist. He also does everything possible to save a tooth. Highly recommend.

This office is consistently high quality. They also are extremely practical, helping the patient to understand how to take care of his/her dental health in an understandable, friendly manner. Both the dentist, Dr. Rothenberg, and dental hygenist, Kay, are able to relate effectively with patients and take care of dental issues with a minimum of stress. I would highly recommend this practice.

The actual dental work was outstanding. My problem is with the office people. I have been trying to get an EOB (explanation of benefits) for a year now to get reimbursed by my insurance, but they do not seem to know what that is. I have had to delay further dental work for over 6 months because of this. Once the issue is resolved, I highly doubt I will go back due to this.

Dr. Rothenberg is a friendly award winning dentist with a staff that anyone would be lucky to call their "dental Family". With his artistic gentle touch he keeps me smiling with ease! I am impressed with everything from the thoroughness of the hygienists right down to the office introducing amazing digital imaging technology! This is a great office ahead of their time!

omg! Dr. Rothenberg is SO good with my daughter. He is soft spoken and really puts her at ease! I highly recommend this practice, and the hygienists are trained in the same manner, so good with kids and adults-I have very sensitive teeth so they make sure to take care special care! So glad to have them!

I have been going to this office for several years now. The staff is always courteous and helpful. Dr. Rothenberg and the rest of the hygienists have been nothing but wonderful to me, which meant a lot based on past experiences with going to the dentist. I will go to them for as long as I am able.
