I received the Lasik surgery from Stahl Eyecare in March 2016. Every experience with this office has been excellent. From the staff to the surgery, and every appointment related, I have had a fantastic experience. I live in Pennsylvania, but came to the Garden City, NY office because of its amazing reputation. My eyes are very important to me, so I wanted a surgeon I trusted. Dr. Hufnagel is one of the best, and Im so glad I trusted him with my vision. My eye prescription was in the -8s, but now, thanks to this office, and Dr. Hufnagel of course, I have 20/20 vision. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking to get Lasik done.

In the fall of 2001 I had Lasik performed at Stahl on both eyes. Amazing !! I was terribly nearsighted but after the Lasik, my vision was 20/15! I couldnt believe it. It was so wonderful to see just everything, a true blessing and a dream come true. well it has been sixteen years and my vision is now 20/40. Soon I will go back for a correction . Do not hesitate to get procedure done, if you are a candidate they will tell you, of course, at the free evaluation. I was nervous too but it is by far the best gift I ever gave to myself, the gift of clear sight. Thank you Stahl for doing such a great job so many years ago! Jane

I had the PRK procedure a week ago and although the recovery was a rough few days my vision is getting better every day. Dr. Werner is great and even called the night of my surgery to make sure I was doing okay. I would highly recommend seeing him, as he made the process as comfortable for me as possible. Just note- when you go for your consultation, to see if you are a candidate, you should have someone drive you. They put a ton of drops in your eyes that blur your vision and it was probably not safe for me to drive home.

Stahl Eyecare Experts is amazing! The doctor and all of the staff put me at ease on the day of my surgery. I am now seeing better than 20/20 and am so happy I decided to trust my eyes to Stahl. Shortly after the procedure I was away on vacation and was able to go to the beach and do various water sports without worrying about my contacts falling out. I highly recommend Stahl Eyecare Experts to everyone who is interested in having LASIK, you will not be disappointed!!!

June 2016, I took my wife whom now has at least 20/15 vision, to Stahl Eyecare Experts in Garden City, NY for LASIK surgery. The Doctors, staff and service are second to none. Dr. Thierry Hufnagel was outstanding. The whole process from start to finish was extremely simple and actually a pleasant experience. Ask about the Hero discount for credentialed Military, Police, Fire, Rescue and EMS personnel and their family members. Highly recommended. Five Stars!

I live on a Caribbean island with very little health services. When I started seeing flashes in my eye, I flew to Stahl Eye Center in NY where I had my Lasik surgery and my husband had cataract surgery. With no apt., the staff and Dr. Chang saw me the very day I flew in. Everyone at Stahl was so helpful and caring, and Dr. Chang attended to me with his skill and compassion. Environment was very nice, look just like the front of the hotel, machine and tools are all in pretty high standard. Dr Werner was very professional, he is very trustable and friendly when I meet him. Overall it was a very good experience, the only one thing is that they will send you to their prescription department during the wait time and their frames are glasses arent cheap, also the variety of frame styles arent broad enough.

I have had tearing eyes for over 20 years and have been to many eye doctors about this condition. I finally found Dr. Hufnagel, who seems to be a very concerned doctor. I was prescribed 2 different eye drops, and so far, they are doing the job! Everyone in the office was very nice, kind, and helpful as well! I am so glad I found this eye center!

I had my prk surgery in feb 2016 with Dr.Werner. I have already achieved 20/20 vision. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Werner. I was nervous before surgery but the doctor and staff made me very comfortable. Follow ups are also very quick.

Its been 1.5 weeks since my LASIK and im thrilled with my results. Im seeing better than 20/20. The entire staff at stahl has been nothing but professional and courteous. I felt so comfortable with Dr. Werner! I would absolutely recommend them!!
