I have been coming to Gentle touch for a few years. My coworker referred me. He goes there with his wife and kids as well. I am the type of person that gets major anxiety going to the dentist. I went years barely getting cleanings because it was really outside of my comfort zone. My coworker told me that Dr. Polevoy is the best dentist in westchester. I am happy i finally listened to him because really the staff and the dentists there focus on being gentle. Now i dont get anxiety going to the dentist. I have been getting regular cleanings. And the thing i think i like the most is unlike many other doctors. The staff there only recommend the treatments and services you need. Its an honest practice. I dont feel like i am being upsold. So now I tell everyone I know that Dr. Polevoy is the best dentist in White Plains. The experience is smooth. The scheduling and operations are very efficient. The office is really nice. Location is in a corporate building on Mamaroneck Ave. and most of all they really do have a gentle touch. Its not just a company name. Its what they do. Hopefully someone reads this review and decides to give Gentle Touch a try like i did. I promise you wont be disappointed.

Ive been going to Dr Polevy for several years, because I have never maintained steady relationships with dentists, because of my fear and anxiety about dental pain. Dr Polevy runs a very neat, clean, modern, friendly office, with a great staff. They all do whatever they can do to make your experience a pleasant one, or , at least as pleasant as a dental experience can be. I have had lots of complex procedures with the doctor and his staff, and if they can make me feel comfortable, and the experience painless, thats really something, because I think I may be the most fearful patient Ive ever known. Kudos to Dr Polevoy and staff, a very nice group of people, and a great dentist

I just visited the orthodontist, who recommended that two baby teeth to be pulled before any orthodontic work can begin on my son. About an hour or two later, I called Dr. Polevoys office regarding insurance coverage for the extractions and to schedule an appointment for later in the week. That same day, I had the orthodontist visit for my son Dr. Polevoy was able to accommodate me when I had asked to see if there were any appointments available with in the next couple hours. I am very thankful, grateful and happy that Dr. Polevoy was able to do the extractions on such short notice. Many thanks again to you and your lovely staff Dr. Polevoy. Kim, Yonkers

Dr. Polevoy and his staff represent the very best in dental care. The office atmosphere is comfortable and friendly; everyone from the people in charge of appointments to the hygienists and technicians is expert and confident. Dr. Polevoy himself is that rare phenomenon - a painless practitioner with whom the patient feels completely relaxed. The office is a model of modern technology. My only possible criticism of Dr. P would be this - hes a fascinating conversationalist, but with ones mouth filled with instruments, its impossible to answer him! I would recommend him to anyone of any age.

I have had a fear of dentists for many years and avoided them like the plague. Dr. Polovoy changed that by actually spending time talking to me about what needed to be done, why and how. He always ensured I was comfortable, knew what he was doing and when to expect some pain or pressure. Although I am still not crazy about going to a dentist, Dr. Polovoy has made it much easier for me to get past my fear and now I have my teeth looked after on a regulkar basis. Both my wife and 3 year old daughter attend and are very happy.

Dr. Steven Polevoy and his staff are always very professional and accommodating. Instructions and billing is always explained well. When I do have an issue that requires me to return for a quick follow up appointment, the scheduling is simple. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. I doubt anyone loves going to the dentist, but Dr. Polevoy and his staff make the overall experience as smooth as possible. I appreciate that and would recommend this practice to others without hesitation.

i went in early this morning @7:30 am crying in an extreme amount of pain and because i didnt have payment the office wouldnt pull my tooth. where is the compassion you see a young girl sobbing in pain and they didnt even try to work something out. meanwhile i work upstairs how could i run on the bill. I am at disbelief, 5 hours after I wrote this review the office calls trying to accommodate me, where was this when I was in your office crying my eyes out!? The nerve of some people

All the staff at Gentle Touch Dentistry is friendly and eager to help. My entire family uses this practice and finally the dentist is not a bad place to visit. Dr. Polevoy always explains things so we can understand, and he always has time to listen. The hours are great for working parents and we never have a problem making an appointment; even in an emergency. I have and will continue to recommend Gentle Touch Dentistry to my family and friends.

My experience with this dentist office was a nightmare. The impressions taken for a new partial plate was not done correctly which caused the temporary plate and then the permanent plate to be an incorrect fit. For this reason I had to wait 6 weeks for a fit with my new partial but I spent the 6 weeks going around with my upper front and side teeth missing from my mouth. It was a very embarrassing time for me. I would not recommend this office at all.

I have always been very scared and nervous about going to the dentist but after going to Dr. Polevoy its safe to say that Im not scared or nervous anymore! I walked in crying and left smiling. Dr. Polevoy and his entire team are amazing. They are very professional and friendly, and answered all of the questions I had. They made me feel very comfortable and calmed my nerves. I highly recommend Dr. Steven Polevoy and Gentle Touch Dentistry!

Dr. Polevoy is the best! He is excellent at what he does and really takes pride in his work. He is extremely knowledgable, and takes the time to explain things in a way so that the patient understands. The staff is awesome as well! Lauren, Sandy, Eddie and Donna all go out of their way to make you feel at home! This office turned a bunch of boring, extensive dental work, into a fun, memorable experience!
