Took my 9 month old daughter there today due to a 104.1 fever that sprang out of no where. When I called (mostly to find out what we should do) the receptionist told us to come in at 1:45. Well, we were there well before 1:45 and there was NO OTHER patients but us. 10 minutes later other patients started showing up. 10 minutes after that we were called into a room. 5-10 minutes later an MA came to take her temp and told us doctor would be right in. 20 minutes later a PA comes in to ask questions. We had given her moltrin at home so her fever was 99.5 (using the ear method and not the rectal method which is most accurate and recommended by this office to use). 15 minutes and still no doctor and Im thinking in my head theyve skipped her and are seeing the patients who came after her. Well I WAS RIGHT. At 2:45 I got frustrated that grown children were being seen ahead of my daughter and walked out. I called to explain to the receptionist my concern and asked her to relay the message to the doctor. Its been 45 minutes since then, you would think if they CARED a doctor would have reached out to us by now with some sort of apology. Oh and this is just the situation for a sick appointment. The Struggle to get well appointment is real! Absolutely disgusted with the lack of care they gave (or lack thereof) to my daughter.

I dont know what going on here, but Ive been coming for the last 4 years with my daughter and now with my 5 month old and the service has been declining. This would be the third time Ive been given an appointment and either it wasnt in the system or they entered it at a time that wasnt verbally given to me at the time I made the appointment. Its frustrating to leave your house with a toddler and infant only to find out you have to wait because my supposed appointment is 3 hrs after the one given to you or scheduled for a week later. Today as I type this I was given an ear piercing appointment at 9:45am and I repeated it 3 times infront of my husband and put it in my calendar immediately only to come here and have the doors still locked. I usually get to my appointments early so I arrived at 9:35, to have to walk back to my car with my infant in the cold and wait until 9:45 to then go back and still have the doors closed because theyre not open! Why not make my appointment on hours that you are actually open? Someone is screwing things up at my expense and time and I do not appreciate it. Besides this, doctors are very nice.

I have to say I am pretty dissapointed with this office in general. They do have some great doctors that are excellent with kids and when you do find them, youre in luck. In particular, Drs Greenbaum and Janice are excellent pediatricians and my wife and I always feel very fortunate to see them. Other than that, you can forget about this place. First, dont go there unless you have lots of time. Wait times are horrendous with 45-60 mins being typical even after you respect their times and get to your appt 10-15 mins early. Few months ago, our son had an appt where he was give 3 shots at once. He missed his last due to a cold during the visit. Next day, bad allergic reaction, huge bumps on his body and a high fever of 101. Called the office around 9a and the only time they could see was around 1:30p. Are you for real? Anyway, brought him in early and saw the doc about a half hour later. She was very dismissive and even had the gall the suggest the reaction might have been bed bugs? Really doc? Were you serious? In any event, I am done with that office. Surely, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

I would rate this practice 4 and a half stars. The doctors are thorough, caring, love what they do and down to earth. We travel from Brooklyn Heights because we haven't found anyone that compares to them. Dr. Rothenberg, Dr. Petinos, Predergrast, Shim and Greenbaum are all amazing. Dr. Rothenberg actually called us over the July 4 th weekend to check on our daughter. He was also on the nose with his diagnosis. We have been to several pediatricians since we moved from that neighborhood. Even the upper west side in Manhattan docs are not as good. The main shortcoming is the wait time. The office staff isn't very proactive as well. Regardless, I give it 2 thumbs up.

there are people that put on scrubs and think you are at their mercy. they make sure they dont want to stay late and there for will say "we are booked or the next available appointment is" please make sure when you hire girls to make appointments and answer the phones that they have some compassion not act like who they are behind that desk.we have been coming there for over 25 years and never had a problem but it seems it all depends on who is working there.REMEMBER BE NICE.times sure have changed.doctors PATINOS AND SHIM are very a good reason to stay with them

I would give them 4 1/2 stars. We love going here and have been for 3 years. We come all the way from Long Island to see them. My son has seen Dr. Greenbaum since he was born. Dr. Petinos and Dr. Shims are also very good. The nurses are great, but the receptionists could be better. I recommend them. Oh, they have a sick office on a different floor than the well office, to prevent the healthy kids from getting sick. Awesome idea!
