Theyre a great veterinary practice. I brought my weimaraner there when we moved out to the island. Dr. Aly took the time to get to know us and give my dog the special care that he needs. He had issues in the past and she researched and learned as much as she could in order to treat him the best way possible. Recently Dr. Suzanne treated him for a problem that he had with his back. She fit us in as an emergency to her schedule and took the time to thoroughly examine him and find his issue. Once diagnosed, she treated him and asked me to follow up with her the next day. When speaking to her the next day she was clearly happy to hear that my dog was doing better and her diagnosis and treatment was right on. Both doctors that I have dealt with there are very caring and warm. I have nothing but good things to say about them and would recommend anyone go there for treatment of the pet in their life.

I have been going to Dix Hills Animal Hospital for a long time and have been very lucky to have a staff that is truly dedicated to each and everyone of their fur babies that come through their door. They will go out of their way to accommodate you and make your experience one never to forget. Dr. Ali has taken me through many ups and downs with all my animals and I dont know where I would be without her. Nicole has been there for me when things have been bad and she is an outstanding employee. The front desk girls are truly exceptional and the girls in the back amazing. Dix Hills animal Hospital is the place to take your furry loved one for all your furry needs. They are a top notch Animal Hospital. Muddy, Socks, Roscoe, Cassie, Snuggles and Leon love all of you and are so happy that you are all in their lives.

Dr, Alison Rhein is an absolutely perfect person to turn to if you truly love your pet(s) as I do. Not only is she Ivy League schooled but she is incredibly compassionate and highly skilled. Very rare to find someone who possesses both of those vital attributes when it comes to your cat, dog or both. She has taken care of my pets for some fifteen years and I have only had the very best experience transiting through well diagnosed illnesses to the passing of my beloved cat, Hunter. Dr. Rhein had only one concern, what was right for Hunter and what was right for me. She immediately followed up on my frantic texts and calls and tears and pain. I would trust no other Hospital after having sought a good vet for a lifetime in the NYC metro area. Do not hesitate to completely trust this Hospital.

What can I say about a place that I almost can call my second home. Dr. Ali, Dr. Greenberg and Dr. Ravitz are always completely thorough and honest with me throughout the years that my Shayna and Nikki have been patients. They know Dr. Alis name as soon as I say it and they always think that when the door opens there, that it MUST be for them and they run before the girl can even call the next appt. Its almost like dropping your children off at school and see them happily run in. They feel safe, so I feel safe. So, to entire staff at Dix Hills Animal Hospital ... Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you do for myself and others.

We have had Cassie for 12.5 years adopting her at ten weeks. Cassie to me is my first child and we treat her that way. I am very selective in what care Cassie receives and can say that Dix Hills Animal Hospital is a professional and compassionate practice. Everyone treats Cassie like a member of their family. Dr. Allie is a wonderful vet and treats cassie like her own pet. Cassie recently went through a major procedure and Dr. Allie was with me through every step of the process and was absolutely wonderful. I completely trust her and her team to take care of Cassie and would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a wonderful vet.

Brought my cat there for a dental problem that required anesthesia for tooth removal. The cat was released before any observation to see how she was doing and could not even walk or function properly since the drugs were still in her system and had not worn off even by the time she was brought home. We immediately brought the cat back for observation. The cat was put down three days later by recommendation of another doctor at a different agency because the people at Dix Hills were not qualified or able to deal with the problems, even after over $2,000.00 of charges. As of now, my baby is gone forever. I am heartbroken.

Dr. Ali and the staff at the Dix Hills Animal Hospital are truely amazing. Always friendly and polite, whether in person or over the phone. And always very accommodating! Dr. Ali has helped me treat my dogs thyroid disease for the last 7 years, and has recently diagnosed her diabetes. She has worked with me through financial difficulties, so that I am able to properly care for my pet. I knew from that first exam all those years ago that this was who I wanted taking care of my baby. I am truely thankful for the care we have received over the years, and would recommend this practice to anyone!

Dr. Rhein is amazing. After our Rottweiler was diagnosed with osteosarcoma cancer which was discovered after his leg broke, Dr. Rhein presented all of our options with compassion. She did not stop there, she spoke to her oncologist friend who spoke with us in such a humane and heart-felt manner during this difficult time as one of the options were to euthanasia him. By meeting Dr. Rhein we have already won and its our doggie "Tubbs" who is the real winner by being cared for by the greatest of hands of all "Dr. Rhein".

I have been a client of Dix Hills Animal Hospital since moving to Huntington in 1974. Over the years all the doctors and staff have been supportive and informative. When necessary they have recommended specialists. My current dog is the seventh patient at Dix Hills. A few years ago he developed a rare skin disease that baffled Dr. Ali for a diagnosis but she persevered and his condition was brought under control. I have recommended many friends to Dix Hills and they all have had similar positive experiences.

Never had a problem with anyone. Ease of appointments are a great advantage. The doctors are great and do not hurry you out. They take their time and truly care about the patient and the patients foster parent. If the doctor is unaware of something, they will do their best to get an answer for you. All people are friendly to both the patient and the foster parent. Most of their prices are reasonable. Dr. Greenberg is magnificent! All the doctors are good, but I do prefer Dr. Greenberg.

I have been taking all my dogs there for over 25 years. Staff is always pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Rhein was a real lifesaver for my Shepherd Chance when he needed surgery and I got to have another year with him. Dix Hills Animal Hospital offers the latest in treatment,they take the time to discuss all options with you from choosing the right flea treatment to the most serious and are helpful guiding you to the right choice. I recommend them 1000%.
