Very bad care out to make as much money as they can. My cat Buddy got dehydrated and went into septic shock. ( not a good situation) he was brought in and was very under treated. I did not realize this until I reviewed his chart. First the vet based his treatment on his current weight one kg, she should have based it on his weight when he was well 2.2kg. Just this created 100% difference on the amount of fluids he would require. Second she misdiagnosed pneumonia for CHF (one is fluid the other is infection) This caused her to give lasix a diarrhetic that in the end sealed his fate and killed him. The proper treatment for Buddy was hydration, broad spectrum antibiotics and pressures. The only thing the little guy got was half the amount of fluids he needed and lasix. When I spoke to the vet after picking up the deceased cat and questioned her treatment it was very clear she was not a emergency skilled vet. She was very nice and kind and seemed very interested in my points. I do not recommend this hospital for anything serious go to Albany there they have trained emergency vets not general practitioners acting in a emergency setting.

I brought my dog at 8 in the morning. He had an allergic reaction and a rash. We were prescribed an antibiotic and he was given a shot of benedryl. My issue is the lack of compassion. We brought him back later in the afternoon, as he wasnt doing much better and he started to vomit. We say in the waiting room for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Then got put in the doctors office for another hour still to not been seen by anyone. When I asked how long they were going to be, thinking that someone has surgery (which would have been completely understandable), the receptionist told me that she has no idea. Now I know that doctors offices are busy but if youre going to make someone sit for a long period of time, let them know. We finally had enough. If a dog had been there earlier in the day, obviously something is not working if they come back in a second time. The office was filthy and not well kept at all. The room we were in had not been cleaned since the last patient that was in there. You have animals coming in and out who are sometimes very sick. Please clean!

I brought my small Chihuahua here a couple months ago after her 2 back legs randomly stopped working one night and we were devastated. The vet had told us that she had a neurological problem and that she wouldnt get better, she told us we should put out dog down because it would be the right thing to do. My whole family was devastated and made and apt the next day to have her put down, my sister never took her that day and decided she wanted to spend one more day with her and I am SO glad she did because she started to slowly improve that whole week with the help of steroids. And now we have a wonderful healthy dog! I cannot express how happy I am we went against this doctors advice. I believe her name was doctor white or black, Im not sure. But she gave us no hope what so ever. So please people, if you DO go here for your animal, make sure to get a second opinion.

I think they were fine. My dog swallowed my nesbith, thats a little temporary tooth that has points on all ends to hold it in place. I was concerned (after trying to make the poor baby vomit with peroxide with no success) that it would perforate his intestines. This was on Memorial Day. They saw him immediately, everyone was pleasant, checked him out very nicely by a female vet (whose name escapes me at the moment),and took an xray. There it was in his stomach. Advice was that he would probably pass it in his stool since hes a big dog, 75 lbs, and just look for warning signs like loss of appetite, lethargy, etc if I didnt find it. They didnt charge any more than a regular vet.

When my 17 year old dog hit a hard snag on Saturday night me and my husband had to make that awful decision to have her euthanized. Desperate for help we called on Sunday morn and asked for specific help as we did not want to traumatize her. They agreed to help with our wishes and and were very kind and compassionate. The vet and her assistant helped comfort us thru this very trying time. Forever grateful.

Always open. But we got a different diagnosis on two different days. The vet on Sundays seems to be better than the Saturday vet (both female).

When my local vets office was closed, the staff here provided fast, compassionate care for a stray cat with severe ear mites.
