Nasty Nasty office staff, If I was that rude Id be fired, overcharges for things, I told the vet their was no way I could give my cat a bath, and they gave me the shampoo anyway, I figured it was nice of them to do so. Im an idiot because I did not realize until days later that I was charged 26 dollars for the shampoo I told them I would never be able to use, stupid of me to not assume that they would charge me for it but I honestly thought who would give someone something they said they could not use let alone charge them for it. Both my pets have health problems and I have spent thousands of dollars at this office do you think they would ever give me the slightest discount? No just rude receptionists and overpriced goods. They sell pill pockets that you can get for $3 for $12 you want to know why there are so many homeless animals? Because vets are ruthless when it comes to prices You have to be rich in order to afford a cat.

If I could find a vet closer to where I lived I would switch immediately. These people have no compassion, they overcharge for everything, their receptionists dont care about anything and GOD FORBID you bring a price match handout to them, they attempt to charge you for shipping as well. They painfully overcharge for ALL of their meds and they NEVER cut you a break. Every time I go in there, I shell out a ton of money for all of 5 minutes in there. I hate their mandatory "office visit" charges, that seem to be charged every single time I take my dog in (hello, $25 just to lay eyes on my dog? Ridiculous). I should be a veterinarian. They have 3-4-5 people working in there, doing nothing, it must be nice. What a rip off. If they could at least pretend they cared about my dogs Id be happy, but I dread every single time I have to go into that crap hole.

Jessica...every vets office charges an office visit, good luck finding one that doesnt. If they only charged for things like vaccinations, they wouldnt be able to afford to stay open. Lake Katrine has some of the most caring staff Ive ever met. Why dont you try another place to see how great they really are. There is another vet about 10 minutes down the road by car. Youll be right back to Lake Katrine, Im sure.

Dr. Mike and company are always extremely knowledgeable and caring. This vet is a 45-minute drive for me but it is always worth every bit of my time and money. I could chose other places but, the compassion that Dr. Mike and Co. have for the animals is the deal closer for me. Id highly recommend Lake Katrine Animal Hospital as Ive used them for all three of my familys dogs.
