Horrible, just like everyone else thats written a review. I found this office on my insurance carriers website & made an emergency appointment which resulted in me having a broken tooth in the back of my mouth extracted. I needed to first see the dentist who didnt spend more than 3 minutes with me before he said I need a referral for "the Asian guy" who happened to be the oral surgeon. I was shocked that a doctor would refer to someone by that especially in front of a patient but I was in pain & desperate so after almost a half hour of their schedule not working with mine I finally compromised to come in 2 days later before work to have the tooth removed. The oral surgeon numbs me up, doesnt talk to me much & gets started, after hes already started & its too late to discuss anything he tells me that taking this back tooth out may cause the tooth in front of it to fracture (why!? just touch that one!!) & he says "well deal with it if it happens & by the way, the tooth is very infected so even though you are numb you may still feel a lot of pain where the infected tissue is". I almost passed out but thankfully it was over shortly after that & I was scheduling my next appointment to get a cap put on another tooth that wasnt capped years ago from a previous dentist. The office assistant that took care of me this time was very rude so I made the appointment & left. I came back 2 days later for the cap & they told me they mistakenly had made the appointment not for the cap but for a cleaning which I told them I want the cap & thats why Im here. They told the dentist & the dentist could only see me 3 hours later that day so they suggested I get the cleaning & wait so I get the cleaning (the hygienist Chevy was nice). During my cleaning the rude blonde receptionist comes in & tells me to sign a paper stating I agree to pay $355 for a cap. I was completely unaware that this cap wasnt covered by insurance because the prior visit they told me that it was. So seems to me that this is an issue they have too often to be a coincidence... I tell them forget about it, Im not paying that for a cap I have lived without for 7 years & the rude blonde receptionist tries to talk me into doing a care credit. I tell her I dont want a care credit & that I just dont want the cap. She very forcefully tells me 100 times to try it & I may get approved & it doesnt hurt to try...incorrect, a credit application is an inquiry on my credit report so it does hurt & youre not going to fool me or talk me into anything by being annoying. I actually walked out of the office that day & I will never work with this practice ever again. They are rude & do not care about the patients, they very clearly only care about the money.

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE! Heed the warnings, and save yourself the trouble! These dentists use appalling and absolutely horrific business practices! Typical bait and switch. I have been to this location 4 or 5 times over the last year, and every time I came in I waited at minimum 45 minutes to be seen (while I arrived on time!) BUT thats not even the worst part.. After speaking with the Doctors and the front desk staff to facilitate a 2 tooth bridge, it was determined that I would need 1 additional tooth extracted because the tooth "was bad." This, of course, was no big deal. On numerous occasions, I was told that the bridge would be covered by my insurance and that there would be no additional cost, except the cost of temporary teeth (known as a flipper). I went in and had the additional tooth extracted -- and as I am scheduling the appointment for the bridge, the receptionist tells me that there will be a $1,600 charge for the bridge, as my insurance will only cover half! This is the same person who confirmed that the entire cost would be covered by my insurance - the same exact woman! Now am I am missing an ADDITIONAL tooth, and will NOT be able to afford the bridge. I have been told by the staff on numerous occasions that this would be covered by insurance. The staff, of course, vehemently deny this, but I would NEVER have allowed them to extract this additional tooth had that been the case. After a long heated argument with "Tony" the office manager (who was beyond rude, and incredibly unprofessional) I was told to leave the building or they would call the police! She even refused to provide me with my documentation and medical records before I left. Probably because they dont want me to be able to prove this when I take them to court. The people at this facility are incredibly rude, unprofessional, have horrible bed side manner -- and could really care less about your dental health. The ONLY thing they are concerned with is generating revenue -- at the expense of their "patients." I feel more like a victim of this business -- rather than a patient. Proceed at your own risk - but anybody with half a brain reading this review, can clearly see that this is not the place you want to take yourself or your children!

I read most reviews before scheduling an appointment, most had negative things to say. Instead of listening to the reviews i scheduled an appointment. The Oral Surgeon I saw regarding wisdom teeth that needed to be extracted was very rude. He made it seem like he had better things to do than discuss my surgery. Before the appointment I was told that they would communicate with my insurance and i would only have to pay a co-pay. When I got there I was told they were not able to get in contact with my insurance and I would have to pay in full today but they would continue to try and get in touch with my insurance so that I can get reimbursed. I left the appointment and did not schedule the surgery because I never wanted to go back there. 2 Weeks later I called them(they were supposed to call me about my insurance), the women who was supposed to look into my insurance had been fired and no one else took over my reimbursement. I called back a week later and finally they had put in a claim. A month later i receive a letter from my insurance saying that they sent a check to Advanced dental and that i still owed the rest, the problem is I had allready payed in full and the money was supposed to be sent to me. I have been calling advanced dental for the last 2 weeks and no one has gotten back to me about getting my money back. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE...DO NOT GO HERE!

My family and I have been going to Advanced Dental for 25+ years!? Dr. Zangeneh and his Dental Technicians, Rosie, Sheri & Im sorry I cant remember the other girls names are by far the most caring and compassionate group of professionals I have had the privilege of working with! Terri, Shirley, Dottie & Keisha front office staff go above and beyond to help when needed! We love them so much that even after we move south, plan to fly back twice a year for our check ups! 2/21/17 So, I just read some of the reviews written after mine and while I am certainly not minimizing the perception of those who wrote the negative reviews! However, when I read a review I look for 2 things in order to take it seriously! 1. Was there anything positive at all in the review? If not, it usually means that person is having a very bad day or they just always see the "glass as half empty" and nothing you do or say will change that! 2. Was the negative comment written by someone who failed to do their insurance homework before the visit? I mean come on folks, put yourself in the business owners shoes. If the practice allowed everyone to walk out the door and not pay their bills, how long would do you think they would stay in business!!? SERIOUSLY!!
