Dear Dr. Dorfman, I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for me. We go back together a long time. No other DMD could have taken better care of me. You have taken care of my teeth for the last few years and I couldnt be happier to know I’m in your care. What makes you extra special is your holistic approach not just to Dentistry but the entire human body. To me this means you go above and beyond basic dental care. However, you werent done with me yet. You were very concerned about my health. You know I have a problem with my left leg and the struggle I have been going through to rehabilitate my sleeping beauty. In July/Aug of last year you gave me the greatest gift a Doctor, and Friend, can give anyone. This was the introduction to the Center for Balanced Health. I know from the depths of my being, then and now, you spoke true of these extraordinary group of medical professionals. I want to start with Dr. Allen, hes absolutely incredible! He truly lives up to the name pain management care. When I walked into his office I was in a lot of physical pain, from my ankle to my back. He is very thorough in his explanation and its important to him that you understand what he is saying. Also, he is great when it comes to walking and talking you through procedures. His objective is to make anyone under his care comfortable and knowledgeable. He has given me control of myself and I havent had that in a long time. Where do I begin with Russell Stram? He is the best Physical Therapist I have ever had and do not know how I managed without him. He truly has healing hands. All I have to tell him something aches and like magnets he finds the sore points. He then works his magic. If I could jump in the air and click my heels after every session I would. I have improved so much from the short time I walked into the gym. He is great and thanks to him, Im able to go up the stairs, which I could not do a few months ago. I cannot tell you how much I have improved and how happier I have become. Lastly, Dr. Berkowitz is incredible. He literally blows me away. His main concern, like everyone else, is my personal well-being. The same care he shows me is what he shows to every single patient. He has given me illumination and self-awareness. He is also the very first MD not to laugh at me and actually listen to my physical complaints, then connect all the dots for me. I cannot tell you how relieved and content that I was heard. His approach is so simplistic because he makes you understand what is happening to your body and how you have the ability to change yourself. I feel like I hit the jackpot treasure trove. Like the MasterCard commercials this team of experts, including you, is priceless. I also extend my gratitude to the staff as well, Brandon, Erica, Jacqueline and the entire team, for making me feel so comfortable. I cannot thank you enough for introducing me to them. Dr. Jeff is simply the best New York Cosmetic Dentist! He and his professional, polished staff, are totally world class! His smile makeovers (look at the Before and After pictures here and on his web site) are legendary. I have been a close friend and patient since 1994. I travel at a bit of expense from NJ for treatment, simply because there is no better dentist in New York or New Jersey. From the moment you arrive at his rather non-traditional, and very upscale NYC office, you know you are in good hands. You wont be waiting long - you are seated in a treatment room right away, and you are immediately put at ease even before meeting Dr. Dorfman. His office is immaculate, yet it doesnt have that scary "dentist office smell". I dont know how they do it. When you meet Dr. Jeff, his friendly, affable manner will make you feel very confident about putting your dental health in his hands. His explanations for your treatment regimen are easily understood, and very detailed. Your comfort and health are paramount here. Dr. Jeff is very honest, and while not cheap, (who wants to got to a cheap dentist?) his prices are always more than fair. There is no fine print or chicanery here. He is a perfectionist, which is a very desirable quality for a cosmetic dentist. He will work diligently to ensure you leave with a healthy mouth, and a "romantic smile". Like most people, I was never thrilled to go to the dentist. Most people have a lot of nerve endings in their mouth, and are very sensitive to dentistry, including me. Yet here, Dr. Jeff has the touch of a concert pianist, he is truly the most gentle dentist I have ever known, and why he is the only dentist I have gone to in the past 21 or so years. He ensures that his treatments are painless, and even after you have left the office you are comfortable and well taken care of by Dr. Jeff and his staff. They will follow-up with you and make sure you are feeling good after treatment. Its really a no brainer...if you want to look good, but not go through the pain or discomfort of traditional dentistry, if you need a lot of dental work and have neglected your dental health and dont know what to do, if you want a movie star smile to go along with your gym body, Dr. Jeff is the dentist. Unconditionally, I recommend Dr. Jeff Dorfman and his staff of specialists to anyone who understands the value of a healthy mouth.

Top professional dentists and specialists, clean facilities, friendly staff. Highly recommend!! I have been getting all of my dental work for the past 8 years at this dentistry. Because of the poor nature of my teeth, going to dentist is like visiting aunts house for me since I was a kid... I have been getting almost all kind of oral treatment including cleaning, crown, bonding, braces, and removal of wisdom teeth, at this dentist. I have been to other dentists but you get more than what you paid for at this place. I have brought the Xray photos that I got taken here to another dentist and they were so impressed with their Xray photos and the work they have done. This place has many specialists. Its not like one dentist trying to juggle all different types of dental work. For all the years I have been going to this dentist, I have not waited more than 5 minutes to my appointment. They also play some of the popular HBO shows on TV in every room which makes dental experience not freighting and relaxing! Also, I always pick their free pear lip balm at the front desk. They give you a goodie bag after the cleaning! No candies but with toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste. Its like dental-spa!

For the last 25 years, Dr. Jeff Dorfman has not only treated several members of my family, he has become family. Jeff did my fathers implants, guided my mother to healthy gums after gum disease and has been keeping my teeth healthy for two decades. His colleagues and support staff at The Center for Special Dentistry are top notch professionals who understand that while technical ability is paramount, warmth, humor and true concern about a patients overall health go a long way. Treatment options are clearly explained. I have always trusted Jeff to let me know when a condition has to be handled right away. Ive never felt pressured to have procedures done. The examination rooms are immaculately clean=fanatically sanitized. All equipment and exam chairs are state-of-the-art (including the TVs!) They really take their patients comfort seriously. The office runs smoothly and on time. Theres a help-yourself jar of flavored lip balm at the reception desk. When you see the hygienist, besides receiving an amazing cleaning, you get an education and a dental care goody bag: toothbrush, floss and toothpaste.
