I can not thank and recommend Dr. Bauer and his staff enough. We have been seeing him for the past 11 years and have come to trust him and his professional opinions implicitly. He has always done what is best for our fur baby and has never pushed tests or procedures in order to make a few extra dollars. I have trusted him to perform three surgeries on our dog (spaying and two ACL surgeries) as well as tooth cleanings and yearly check ups which have all been done with absolute care. I have never had a problem making an appointment and, after having done a lot of research (torn ACLs are no joke) his pricing is also very fair and reasonable. My family has the utmost respect and gratitude for the services and kindness of Dr. Bauer and his staff. We highly recommend Palisades Veterinary Hospital. They are the best.

After having a horrific experience at another vet, a friend recommended Dr. Bauer at PVH and I couldnt be more pleased. As an owner of multiple furbabies (some with health issues), I take vet care very seriously. Dr. Bauer not only took the time to get to know each one of my babies and make them comfortable, but he also listened to me as their owner. He didnt push treatment and all the decisions made about their care were done together. I have since recommended Dr. Bauer and his lovely office staff to my friends, neighbors, and rescue acquaintances and all have reported similar experiences. Dr. Bauer is TOPS. Not only does he care deeply for our dog, he seems to be able to know what shes thinking and feeling. He also puts us at ease, when it seems all heck is breaking loose with our dog. I cant say enough good things about him. I also like the easy going support team behind Dr. Bauer. They are very understanding and good with our dog. They also follow up the next day after our dog has been seen for a problem, and they are always reassuring and there for us.

Dr Bauer and his staff are wonderful.. We have been taking our 2 dogs to Palisades Veterinary Hospital for 10+ years and have nothing but positive things to say about him and his staff. I know Dr Bauer really cares about my 2 girls and I trust him implicitly. My dog had been sick I took him to another hospital a week or so had passed by and he was the same when thank god I found out about Dr. Bauer took my dog and 3 days after taking him my dog was back to normal. We took our dogs to Palisades Veterinary for the first time today.....the service was excellent! Everyone in the office was so kind. Cant say enough about Dr. Bauer and his staff. He is an excellent diagnostician with an amazing memory for the pets history, able to connect the dots where others cannot. Energetic about reaching out within his clinical network for other opinions and concise and compassionate when relaying results. Always willing to engage in lengthy conversations with me, and my dogs (well , at least one of them) actually gets excited to go see him.

Dr. Bauer and the staff are truly amazing! I have been taking my Rottweilers here for 7 years. The facility is clean, friendly, honest and just an enjoyable experience. The vet can be a little stressful especially for my Rotty, Magnus, but this is more of a field trip, he enjoys it! we are very pleased with the Palisades Vet Hospital and Dr. Bauer and his staff. They are all very helpful, responsive and supportive and treat our dog very well. Dr. Bauer has diagnosed any illness quickly and provided clear and easy guidelines for recovery. He is supportive and does not bring concern during his exams. He appears to know us and more importantly our dog, and his staff reacts in a similar manner.

Our dog is in good hands here with Dr. Bauer and his wonderful and attentive staff. This is our first dog who is a rescue. Dr. Bauer is compassionate and cares for each dog like it is his own. Our dog jumped out of our moving vehicle and he was able to fix her up. He has treated her ear infections and irritation between her paws. He allowed me to send a photo of my dogs issue so he could look at it right away.

Great Staff! Dr. Bauer and his staff are really great and most importantly, cared about our dog, Eddie, and his well-being. It was our first visit to PVH, and I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Bauers exam of our dog, who was in for an annual check-up and shots. They followed up to see how he was doing, as well. Dr. Bauer is the best - I highly recommend him! He saved our cat Oliver, and is great with our rottweiler. The staff is professional and friendly. We live in the city and make the trip to Orangeburg because its way cheaper, and we feel at ease with the Palisades staff.
