They are going downhill fast in the last ten years. I tried to pay a bill I owed on the phone. After 30 minutes with many phone numbers I was unable to pay due to their very poor system. Their billing system is in ruins. They switched recently to improve billing but to no avail. It has progressively gotten poorer. In the past five years I have yet to receive an accurate bill. I now throw their bills in the trash and go there personally to see what I really owe and catch up every so often. It was necessary for me to use the ER. The diagnosis was incorrect. There was also a nurse there that was extremely rude, possibly out of her mind. I am not sure as I am not an expert. When I went to the Patient Advocate to complain, she assured me she was no longer in their employ. Eight months later I find out she is still their hassling patients and doing her best to be annoying. She still works there. I have also heard this from two other people in town that I talk with. I go to physical therapy on RT 94 in Warwick. Their toilet explodes on a regular basis and drowns the facility in feces and all kinds of good stuff. They close down for a day or two to clean and then reopen. Just the thought is horrible. They have yet to correct the problem.

St.Anthonys hospital in Warwick NY yes as some have said is a old hospital but twice now they have saved my mothers life I wish the doctors would explain things in a easier way Im not a doctor so I could not understand some of the terminology the nursing staff is awesome as well as the doctors unlike the big hosospitals u get more personable care here which we. Like god bless the whole staff at this hospital and thank you again for solving my moms health issues which another hospital in orange county just sent her home with antibiotics when she had conjestive heart failure and blot clots in the lung so trust me go to st.Anthony u will be glad u did thank u all from Joyces son Shawn petty we luv ya and all the great services started with the E.R. doctors ,nurses, admitting staff ,and dont forget the hard working CNAs they work there butts off hats of to the whole staff I say give them all a well deserved raise WOW oh and the foods not to bad either and the custodial staff also it was clean I think I covered everyone if not thank you too

Weve been to the ER a total of 2 times. I thought the first experience was a fluke. NOPE! Went the 2nd time last month, and it was exactly the same. I guess there must be a class that they attend on Rudeness. Do not go to the ER if you can help it. I cant speak about what goes on in the rest of the hospital, but in the ER you can expect to be ridiculed, dismissed and made to feel like youre inconveniencing the nurses. The Drs. arent that wonderful either, guess they had to attend the same Rudeness class. They treat you as if youre bothering them. No respect for the nursing profession AT ALL! God forbid you ask a question while theyre recapping their favorite reality shows. Stay away, go to Chilton, if its life or death, head to Newton.

For the impatient TL;DR Dont go to their emergency room, go somewhere else. There seems to be a common thread in the reviews here. The hospital overall is good (I cannot vouch for this) but the ER is sub-standard. As others have said, its rather slow and they were unable to diagnose me, however a private practice that I found in my network immediately saw the problem in my scans. I had to go for additional imaging (elsewhere thankfully) and when I looked at my health insurance bill I simply couldnt believe it, St Anthonys charged over 10X for an X-Ray as opposed to my second round of scans and 50% more than my MRI. I wouldnt have minded as much if the staff were helpful but honestly it was a waste of time.

I agree with Danielle DO NOT BOTHER with the ER. The nurses have zero compassion an no bedside manner what so ever. If you have questions dont expect answers they have more important things to do like talk with the other nurses about how good the pina cooladas were during there vacation or how the other nurses son will never amount to anything.. after each of the 3 visits i have had there i have had to go to Chilton Memorial Hospital for a proper diagnoses an treatment. If i had followed through with what the doctors recommended at st anthonys an had I not gotten a second opinion i wouldnt have my 6yr son here with me today.

Upon checking in to the ER we found it very uncared for with peeling paint & holes in the walls in spots. Not expecting an ER to be cheery & super comfrotable but it was so gloomy!! Then we were sent through a door to the ER rooms & the hallway was not lit! Very unsafe! The ER rooms were cold & the entire area was very gloomy with most lights not lit & very uncomfortable. The staff was not very pleasant also. Will make the trip to Orange Regional if needed in the future! it is much, much nicer with much friendlier staff!!

I went for a followup CAT scan but what they found unexpectedly--pulmonary embolisms--had me admitted immediately. Awesome treatment in radiology, then ER, and then in a room in an older part of the hospital. I was treated like gold throughout my 4 day stay. Nurses, support staff, transport people, respiratory, and Doctors all explained everything, tried to make the every-6-hour-blood-draw bearable, and made sure I knew how to continue once I left. I was in excellent hands all the way through.

The ER is usually really fast as far as admittance goes and the staff is very professional. Outpatient surgery was always really good and my hospital stays have also been good. The nurses are generally friendly and provide good care. The doctors are generally really good. Surgeons are excellent. Lab and outpatient services are generally quick. Maternity ward is excellent. Overall a good hospital with a no frills environment that is better than the other hospitals in the region.

I was admitted on July 28 2015 for hip replacement surgery. My surgeon was Dr. John Juliano, the surgery went very well ,and the after care was great. The nursing staff on the orthopedic floor did an amazing job of caring for me ,they were very friendly and compassionate. I also thought the food was very good. I would recommend this hospital ,and would return if I need any further surgery.
