I took my cat Zoey to this place last night 3/7/16 at 7pm. They promised me that she would be treated and looked after until 6am, promised to call me with updates when her labs were done, Promised me they would make her comfortable. They took her blood gave her IV fluids charged me $391.00 up front. When I asked my Vet to call them to make sure she was alright they told her they were leaving at 1am and her pump with fluids would be shut off receiving no treatment and to be left alone in a cold dark place, they also told her that Zoey was stable after convincing me 2 hours before that she was critical and needed to be admitted. They gave her nothing for pain, my kitty is still in pain. They gave her nothing for a vaccine reaction, they basically did nothing for her. When I picked her up at 11pm the office manager was trying to convince me that were a compassionate treatment facility for service animals, this is extremely far from the truth. No one seemed to care how my girl was doing, they refunded part of the charges for the services that I did not receive, they did not do the urinalysis which was a vital part of process. They did not treat her in any way but gave her some fluid. I will not be returning to this place ever. They were not compassionate what so ever, they did nothing for my girl. She is still in pain and can hardly walk. My regular vet is coming to the house after work today. They knew I just had spinal surgery and should not be traveling only to make me drive from Cap Hill up there twice within hours. The vet that was on staff last night did not understand English well, when he spoke to me his accent was thick and not easy to understand. Overall this was not a good encounter. They should be ashamed of their treatment, promises and compassion for my kitty. She deserves much better treatment especially for the price they charged, they did nothing but expensive testing and did not even address her pain when she still screams when you pick her up or touch her. Shame on you all for your treatment of me and my kitty. I think I will file a report on this Vets license with the state.

Can I give no stars? Apparently no. Horrible. We took our puppy that was hit by a car. Left for emergency treatment last night 04-21-2016. Appears that there is another institution that is running neutering and castration enterprise that is getting paid for requesting to use their services . This puppy that is in critical condition. We werent explained or advised and when came to visit today (I called no one returned calls) some Melody upfront desk in a Nazi manner told me that their policy. I did leave my dog to neuter nor was advised. Horror. Filing complaints with BBB, Human rights, Animal rights, PETA and will dispute the payment. This puppy was critically injured and I asked to let her recover but the Nazi was telling that she is not with the urgent care. I dont understand how the other outfit is involved in the urgent care and why their requirements are not presented at the admission. Horrible. This is my dog and its up to me to execute rights not the some Nazi at the front desk/ I dont know where this type of personality can work but definitely not with people or animals. I am not irresponsible owner and I will sue for inflicting not authorized procedures without proper consensus.

How disappointed I am in a very challenging time for my family. My father took went to Denver Pet Urgent Care after his dog passed away at home. He was a mess. He went in and ordered the paw print and the ashes returned of his dog. The lady showed him urns, colors- everything. He made his choices and paid. Thats when the lady realized that she didnt charge him for the ashes. "Never mind," she said. "Ill fix it and not charge you." He clarified and she assured him that was okay. She even said itd be about a week and theyd call him when the ashes and paw print were ready. A week goes by, no call. We call, no response. Finally, a month later, we finally talkneuth someone who says the paw print has been there for a while- but no ashes. She didnt order them. My 78 year old father lost his only companion. We trusted Denver Pet Urgent Care to help him and the negligence and shortcutting of one employee has forced him to grieve all over again. Shame on you. Ill never take any of my animals there and Ill tell everyone I can think of. Im horrified for my dad, and you should be too.

My eight month old labardoodle, Walter had consumed an entire dish towel. He seemed fine until he started puking. I had to rush him to Denver urgent pet care because I knew the towel was now causing issues. When I arrived I automatically felt like he was in a safe place where he would receive the best possible care! The staff was very friendly and understanding and got Walter in immediately to start receiving IV fluids. He underwent a very large procedure where his small intestines large intestines and stomach all needed to be operated on. I am so happy to say that Walter is the thriving today!! A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to the entire staff at Denver urgent pet care! THANK YOU,

I brought my cat in to see them at 11:30 pm and right from when I walked through the door I knew I had made the right choice. The staff was so warm and friendly and caring, even though it was the end of their day. Everyone was extremely kind towards my lovable fur ball, and both doctors and vet techs were gentle, proficient and took their time with me. I learned quite a few things and my kitty, Jeff Goldblum, was not in the least bit traumatized when we got home. The cost was extremely low ($120 for pain relievers, sub q hydration, and exam). I cannot say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you all so much!! Jeff Goldblum also says thank you :)

*****GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE FOR EMERGENCY CARE FOR YOUR ANIMALS***** One doctor that wanders around and about 6 staff that sit doing nothing. I was there 1 1/2 hours with only two people in the waiting room and still nothing. I told front desk I couldnt wait anymore and she said "well hes only one man". Really, and whos fault is that? My regular Vet is Planned Pethood Plus (best Vet in the World) - they need to kick this horrible excuse for an urgent care out of their building. I would have given a -star but its not an option.

This is by far the absolute worse place to take your pet under any circumstance! My sons beautiful 2yr old Akita got hit by a car and was taken to this place for emergency care! They( the staff) reguired a 1300.00 up front fee before they would look at his dog ...he paid the money and a short time acter they him he would be ok and told my son to go home! They call him at 630am and told my son his dog had died!
