Dr. McClanahan performed a hysterectomy on me and did a phenomenal job. Hes incredibly attentive, caring, and kind and also answers every question you might even begin to have in a professional way. His entire staff is incredibly warm and welcoming and try to accommodate you in any way that they can. I have a few friends that live in Fort Smith (I no longer live in the area) that have him as their OB/GYN and have nothing but rave reviews about everything from simple office visits, small procedures, and large surgeries, to baby deliveries. If youre on the fence or simply new to the area and looking for a doctor/staff who you trust and feel comfortable with - I promise, you wont regret going to the Center for Womens Health.

Dr McClanahan delivered both of my boys. I have never felt more at ease and like I really mattered in the care of a physician. He will still give me a hug when we bump into each other in public and has even come to visit me in the hospital when I had to have other surgeries. Hands down, he is the best OB-GYN doctor in the River Valley.

Dr. McClanahan is great! He is very knowledgeable. He answers all of my questions without making me feel like an idiot. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
