If you want your children to feel safe DO NOT bring them here. ** Money was more important to this office then my childs well being or safety. ** My daughters feelings didnt come first! ** I was talked down to in front of my daughter by medical biller and now she is even more scared of a dentist office. ** The biller was very unprofessional (looking and behavior wise) and sloppy with tattoos showing on her right arm. Today I took our 8 year old daughter here for x-rays. Kaylee was referred here by our primary dentist because she has such a strong gag reflex and we were told we would be treated well. Pros: Front and back office staff are friendly and amazing. Dr. Lee made Kaylee feel comfortable and was able to get her x-rays done with little crying from Kaylee (yay amazing). Cons:The medical biller IS HORRIBLE AND SCARED MY CHILD!!!! As soon as I stepped into her office she had a chip on her shoulder (she is very unprofessional looking). I went from smiling to feeling very unsafe around her and in the office. She said she was unable to verify our insurance. I told her I had just taken Kaylee to her primary dentist yesterday and they didnt have any issues. She then looked at me and said that she knows how to do her job and Kaylee isnt covered. Keep in mind I know nothing about insurance so I continued to let her go on. She said theyre a premier office and that Kaylees visit would be $300+ for the visit. I love and adore my child so I told her to just try to bill the insurance and if they didnt pay I would pay out of pocket. After that the dental assistants took my daughter and I to the x-ray room. Kaylee was having a hard time so they allowed me to stay in the room with her. Im sitting in the room with my crying daughter and the medical biller comes in. She hands me papers and says "SEE SHES NOT COVERED" and walks away. Why was that even necessary? I already told her I would pay out of pocket no problem. IS BEING RIGHT BETTER THAN CUSTOMER SERVICE? After the x-ray room we are taken into another room where Kaylees teeth are cleaned. The doctors asked to speak to me outside the door and so of course I agree. He begins to tell me that he understands there is a problem with my insurance and goes on to tell me how they need payment that day. I have never been to a doctors office where they seemed so money hungry. Again I have no idea why this is an issue. I told his medical biller I would pay OUT OF POCKET. It was a weird very uncomfortable conversation to have with the doctor, very unnecessary. After the cleaning they told us to go back to the medical office to discuss follow up care and costs with the biller. Kaylee and I sat in the billers office and she looked up from her typing and asked "Do you have any questions" I said yes, I want to know how much the procedures are going to be that the doctor said Kaylee needed. She said she couldnt give me an answer because of my insurance information. I asked to just give me the total without the insurance so I knew what I needed to pay. She then said (in a very rude tone) Im sorry you seem to be mad (Im wasnt mad but now I had enough of her professionalism) that she wasnt going to give me the totals ( I guess now my money isnt good enough) and that she knew her job and she doesnt want to deal with me and she would just have the doctor call me if I still wanted to go there. KEEP IN MIND SHE IS ACTING THIS WAS IN FRONT OF MY 8 YEARS OLD THAT IS ALREADY SCARED OF THE DENTIST OFFICE. I told her not to yell or speak down to me in front of my little girl. Kaylee held my hand the entire time with tears in her eyes. I walked out of the billers office and all the dental assistants could do was apologies to me for the billers behavior. Kaylee cried the entire way home. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

My 5-year old son has always feared about going to the doctors/dentists which traced back to having to be hospitalized at 15 months of age. We went through a number of trusted dentists but no one has been able to get him to cooperate without some screaming and tears. That’s until we came to Dr. Lee’s office. We were 30 minutes late to our first appointment but we were greeted with nothing but smiles from the staffs. My son was agitated and nervous even before we got out of the car so I was expecting some screaming and tears. Before I knew it, they had already taken the very first dental x-ray in his life without any fuss from him. The exam and dental cleaning for both my 3 and 5 y.o. went on smoothly. When they were told to come back for some more work at a later date, they were excited. They talked about the games they are going to play at the office for days before our second appointment. On the day of the second appointment, my 5 year old again had some doubts and second thoughts just before arriving at the office. However, the staffs and Dr. Lee worked their magic once again, and were able to give them each a small filling without even using any anesthesia. No tears or screaming came from either one of them. Since both visits were so calming and comfortable for my kids, they were actually looking forward to seeing Dr. Lee again. Furthermore, my 5-yo’s school needed someone to speak to the kids about dental health as part of their community helpers program weeks after our second visit. We contacted Dr. Lee a couple of days before the event and he and his staffs were willing to come out to the schools to speak to the kids with that short of notice. Did I mention that he also supplied the kids with toothbrushes, dental floss, and tooth paste? Everyone there had a blast!! In short, I could not recommend Dr. Lee highly enough, not just for his professionalism, dental expertise, and also his unrelenting patience, in addition to his willingness to reach out to the community. A rare quality to find in this society nowadays!!

Over all this is a good childrens dental office; however, this last visit I felt very rushed by the Dr. Lee. The hygienist was great with my child. She was gentle and he never complained while she worked on him. He just watched the movie that was on. The doctor was quite busy. He came in and poked around, told me my son had a cavity and when he was explaining it to me he was very distracted. So I really didnt know where he was talking about in regards to where it was in my sons mouth. I eventually figured it out when I got the print out for the treatment. When I attempted to book the appointment for treatment, I was given a window of time in the morning. I asked for a later appointment because my son goes to school. I was told "all the parents have your same problem, but if we do for one we have to do for all." First, its not a problem. Its school. Secondly, the problem is eventually theirs because there are plenty of dentists in the area. I was a little turned off by this statement. But in the end, I will probably go back for his treatment. Its so difficult to find businesses, doctors offices, restaurants etc with quality customer service. In the long run, I can deal with a little rushed feeling and not so great communication by staff in order for my kids to get decent dental treatment.
