This was the worst experience of my life! I took my 11 month old to get her ears pierced after deciding that a doctors office had to be safer than getting them pierced at the mall. Boy was I wrong! First off, I had to remind the nurse to clean my daughters ears. Isnt this standard when piercing anyone? Secondly, the nurse pressed the gun against my daughters cheek when piercing and sliced it open. OPEN! There was blood dripping down her face. She was hysterical and inconsolable. It was awful! The nurse was not apologetic and had the audacity to ask me if she already had it when she came in. Yes Im sure. I brought my daughter in with a slice in her cheek that was dripping with blood. Another nurse (after I complained) asked what my daughter did to get that. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? I received no apologies and after asking to see the doctor (NP) she handed me a pea size sample of neosporin type ointment and said she would be fine. My daughter now has a scar. The nurse who cut her never apologized and I was never offered a refund or even an apology. I have since called twice asking for my money back and to speak to the head doctor and have yet to hear back. Its been 6 weeks! We should not have experienced this at a doctors office. I understand mistakes happen. But when your 11 month old is hysterically screaming because part of her cheek was just ripped open and no one comes to your aid to offer help or a refund, something is seriously wrong. I am so disappointed and so disgusted with this experience. What a HUGE disappointment. I will never go back and will strongly encourage people to go elsewhere. No mother or baby should ever have to experience this.

Definitely a medi-cal doctor. This woman claims to have a love for children yet for the whole sixteen months my oldest son has been alive, we have had terrible experiences with her in her office. She makes sure to keep us in the room for at least an hour, which is 75% waiting. The other 25% is completely rushed. She checks what is on file for her to check and doesnt give time for the parents to ask questions or talk about the diagnosis. Instead, the medical assistant is left to talk for the doctor and, more often then not, has absolutely no idea what she (there are no men at this clinic) is talking about. I am finally switching doctors for my son when I realized that her "love for children" is really no love at all. She refused to check my sons ear for an ear infection because it hadnt been documented for the visit and made me schedule a whole new appointment for him. She also said that it made her feel uncomfortable to be asked that when she hadnt had the right paperwork, and wanted an apology. If you want an apology, here it goes, Im sorry that I trusted my son with you for far too long. Im sorry that you worked so hard in school for such a high position of power just to pretend to love kids when you really just love money. Im sorry that you have discriminated me and my interracial family since the first day I met you. Its unfortunate that so many other children must be handled by you.

Dr. Ramkumar and her staff are amazing! Seven years ago I took my daughter to her when she was having trouble with her doctor and was not getting the care she needed. Dr. Ramkumar really cares and it showed! She helped me find the best specialist and today my baby girl (who is 10 now) is perfect! Throughout the whole ordeal, including surgery, Dr. Ramkumar was there and guided us through. She still cares for my daughter and now for my 3 year old son as well. This last two weeks we have been to her office for a broken arm and an ear infection. My poor little guy is having a tough few weeks, but having doctor Dr. Ramkumar on our side, I know my babies will be okay! She always gives the best advise, address my kids and me, and always willing to listen to what I need to talk to her about. My babies are the mos important people in my life and I do trust her to help me keep them safe and happy! She is the best! I wish she could be my doctor too! I will never find another doctor I feel so comfortable with! Thank you for all you do!!!!

Dr. Ramkumar is beyond amazing. I was a patient myself for 18 years and Ive been taking my kids to her since they were born. I tend to over think or stress the simple things and Dr Ramkumar is quick to put me at ease and provide explanation. My oldest is now entering high school and she sat him down to have a serious conversation about going down the right path. So to say she does not have love for these kids or that she discriminates is complete madness! We will continue to put our trust and faith in Dr. Ramkumar

Not only is Dr.Ramkumar my childs pediatrician, she was also mine when I was a tween! I am pleased with her knowledge and experience. I have AlWAYS felt like she has taken the time to hear my concerns and address them. Shes not coddling and into small talk but that doesnt mean she is not kind. She is direct, respectful and incredibly knowledgeable. Someone called her a "medi cal doctor" like its a bad thing. I feel very lucky that she take medical and my children get to be under her care.

I have been bringing my kids to Dr Ramkumar for 13 years. The staff is great and the Dr has such a wonderful bedside manner, she listen and takes an interest in the kids and our family and is always very informative. When I recently changed insurance it was most important that our pediatrician did not change, I would never take my kids to another Dr. Dr Ramkumar is part of our family, our kids adore her.
