The team at Southland Dental is so gentle, honest, and caring. Ive been bringing my mom here over the past few years for a complicated, but excellently coordinated implant treatment. Her treatment included deep cleaning, crowns, teeth removal…and I personally needed a root canal that was attended to with such care that I felt zero pain. Our dentist is Dr. Giang, though everyone is always friendly, professional, and patient. My moms English isnt fluent, but Dr Giang always takes the time to explain...multiple times as needed! The reception area is spacious and filled with magazines...though weve never had to wait long. The exam areas are updated with new technology so x-rays can be viewed immediately....and emailed to you (my mom wanted a copy). They can also text me appointment reminders. The bathroom is always clean and includes amenities, which further confirms that the Southland dental team really pays attention to the details!

I have been going to Southland Dental for approximately 31 years. I love their customer service!!! The staff here does everything possible to make you feel very comfortable. Have had positive experiences with all my dentl care needs including getting fillings, cleanings, x rays ane even impressions for night guards. The billing department is top notch as well as Brenda the office manager. I love getting email reminders of my appointments. Laura has been my hygienist for a long time and I really like the work she does and she is super friendly. Dr. Muzio is incredibly kind and very professional, he has been in the business for decades and always ensures you have a comfortable experience. This business likes to make customers happy and does not go after your wallet with useless or unecessary procedures.

Ive been going to Dr. Muzio and the gang at Southland for dental care for many many years. It truly feels more like a visit with friends than a dentist appointment. They always have the latest tools and cutting edge care and procedures and I never worry about an unpleasant or painful visit. The office looks brand new and contemporary---its hard to believe how long they have been there. Incredibly reasonable pricing and customer care that you rarely find these days. I would recommend highly to anyone who wants the best dental care and honest opinions on procedures. I believe they always have the welfare of their patients as number 1 priority and the quality of care has been maintained for so very many years that it really is impressive. The evidence speaks for itself!

I really cannot say enough great things about Southland Dental and their entire staff! I usually have horrible anxiety with dentists but they have completely changed my thoughts and feelings about going to the dentist. I came in for an emergency root canal and was treated with such kindness that I couldnt help but hug my dentist when it was over. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time AND it was virtually painless. Dr. Giang and Melissa made me feel so comfortable and even made me laugh throughout the whole procedure and Dr. Muzio even came by to offer his comfort as well. I will never see another dentist. I found my spot! Plus the staff and Dr. Giang called me the next day to check up on me! Which was also very awesome. Super highly recommended !!!!

I have always had a positive experience with Dr Giang. I started going to him many years ago when he was at Gentle Dental and promptly followed when he opened up his own practice at Southland Dental. I would say Dr Giangs greatest traits are his attention to detail and his commitment to get your teeth healthy and looking great. He doesnt sing along to the office music as often anymore when working on my teeth, but that is not necessarily a bad thing! ;) Rest assured - your teeth is in good hands. For those who unfortunately need a tooth implant, Dr Dave does an excellent job. I have had two teeth implants in my life and my last one was by far a more pleasant experience than the first I had over 10 years ago.

I started coming to Southland Dental after my long time dentist retired. I didnt care for the new Dentist that took over his practice. My Mother, Lillian, recommended Eileen, Hygienist and Dr. Muzio. She said Eileen was very sweet and gentle and Dr. Muzio was a kind and very nice man who was gentle and caring about her teeth. And, of course, Patty, Dr. Muzios assistant was very friendly. She was right, I hate going to the dentist but not here. The whole staff is great. I have been coming here for at least 15 years now. I only wish I had come sooner. I have been coming to Southland Dental for about 13 years now. I love my Hygienist, Maria. She is gentle and very nice! The office staff at Southland Dental are all friendly and very up-front about costs and treatment options. They work tirelessly with your insurance carriers and make taking care of your smile an easy, almost painless process. Dr. Jiang is great. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is very thorough. He explains all treatment possibilities and supports your decision. I would recommend Southland Dental to anyone.

I have gone to Dr. Charles Giang as my dentist for over 15 years. Dr. Giang is a great dentist. He is caring and very professional. Dr. Giang is careful to make you aware of any issues that you may have with your teeth. He is gentle, and his staff is absolutely necessary very kind and nice. Dr. Giang treats me like a family member. My husband also goes to Dr. Giang at Southland Dental in Hayward. We put our trust in these professionals. My Hygenist Laura does excellent work, great personality Melissa is a wonderful, energetic on-the-go person Dr.Giang has a great sense of humor, sincere and hard working. Brenda does an exceptional job as an Admin Wonderful voice to hear over the phone. Debbie also has a great sense of humor, laid back but also hard working. Like the review says, I wouldnt trade for any other Dental service

The place was amazing the doctor was super nice and very comfortable to be around I felt that he was very confident in what he was doing and that made me not scared anymore, the bathroom was super clean everything is superclean the furniture was nice but they could have updated with New and modern furnitures . Southland Dental makes me feel very welcome and comfortable every visit. They have lovely staff, who dont mind to take the time and explain any questions you may have. With great conversation and laughs they make it enjoyable to come in. While being in my third trimester, my dentist and his assistant take extra caution and are very thoughtful while working.
