Office staff is very unprofessional. I had to wait 2 hours for my first appointment. His medical assistant Cynthia Castaneda has a recording that states she is not returning any of the messages. I need mail in order and for 2 months my pharmacy have been trying to get in contact with Dr. Lipeles office with no success. I finally called Susan and have been playing phone tags with her for the past week. She called my phone twice but stated that she had called three times and left a very fast impossible to understand message. I have tried to call back twice , once got her voice mail and another time her mailbox was full. I finally got a hold of her and she stated to me that she called me 4 times despite my cellular phone confirmation that she only called twice. When I asked for her last name she refused to give it to me. Only because I ma a physician I was able to finally get her to call my pharmacy. This is extremely unprofessional and rude Medical assistant. She shouldnt be working in this field at all

There are no ways to fully describe my appreciation and trust in Dr. Lipeles. My wife switched to Dr. Lipeles from another OBGYN when she was about 7 weeks pregnant. As of today, I can tell with confidence it was 100% right decision. Dr. Lipeles always was open to any questions we had. Every appointment we brought to him new questions, concerns and requests that we learned at Bradley Method classes and he actually was very open minded and supportive! At the time when we were admitted to the hospital, I believe that we were checked by him more often in comparison with other doctors’ patients which helped us stay stress free. It was fantastic experience for us and this is because of the Dr. Lipeles. I would highly recommend Dr. Lipeles and we will definitely return to him with our next baby on the way. Dr. Lipeles – you are a hero! Thank you very much for all your work, help and assistance in bringing our baby girl to this world!!!

Dr. Lipeles abandoned me a week before I was to give birth because I would not go to his chosen hospital PROVIDENCE Little Company of Mary which is in Torrance a 40 minute drive from Mar Vista, it did not matter to him that I had pre registered at PROVIDENCE St.JOHNS in Santa Monica (which you can only do if your insurance approves it} even though he has privileges and has previously delivered there and advertised it on his website. Apparently because I was on Medi-cal I was to have no choice in the matter and should have considered myself lucky to be seen by his office. Dr.Lipeles treated me like a second class citizen, he was arrogant and cruel, he bad mouth me to staff at St,Johns and forced me into having an induction via his fear mongering. Many are fooled by this man, I am willing to bet all those who he sucks up to have the best of the best insurance. This mans motivation is $$$$ do not be deceived.

This review has nothing to do with the doctor but with the front office staff who answers the phones. They were extremely rude, unwilling to assist with the issues that were being addressed and when they would not connect me with the supervisor, hung up on me. They did not listen to the concerns of the patient what so ever and without even putting the phone on hold or on mute, started talking negatively in Spanish about what was going on. They must have assumed that because I do not sound Spanish speaking that I did not understand what they said, they were so wrong. All around extremely unprofessional. Will never recommend people here.

This is a long over-due review! If I can do anything to re-pay Dr. Lipeles for the outstanding care he provides its to pay it forward. Hands down the greatest OB-GYN!! He delivered both my girls, and I couldnt imagine doing it without him!! My pregnancies were exactly how they should be, worry and stress free. Clean upgraded office, and state of the art ultra-sound room put your mind at ease. Dr. Lipeles becomes more than just your Doctor, but you truly feel like he becomes apart of the family!

Having the FemiLift procedure done here awhile back with Dr Lipeles was the best thing ever! He was awesome! He made me feel so comfortable and answered all my questions. Here I am today and I have no more problems with my urinary incontinence, Im much more confident in the bedroom with my husband (he loves the tightness and wetness my vagina now provides). 5 stars is not nearly enough for such a life changing procedure. Thank you Dr Lipeles and the amazing team at Marina OB, you guys rock!

Dr Lipeles is the best at what he does. He has a very kind, funny demeanor and is great at setting worried pregnant ladies minds to rest. I am not at all exaggerating when I say he is the reason I didnt have a c-section; he patiently waited for many hours at the hospital for our baby to make his debut. More than one nurse told me if my doctor had been anyone else, I would have ended up on the operating table. So, thanks Dr. L! He really is the best.

If I could have a doctor for everything, it would be Dr. Lipeles! He is both personable and utterly professional. I am not pregnant (to the poster who thinks that affects your treatment), but was treated as if I were the only patient in the world. He and his staff are attentive and helpful, even in the face of sometimes being busy. If you are looking for a great and highly skilled OBGYN, just call!

I see Dr Jamie Lipelesl, he took my concerns seriously and was very understanding and made me feel comfortable. I am still going back to him as long as he is in practice. There is not another doctor I trust more than him because he truly cares about his patients. The girls handling the office are most friendly.
