Note to parents: if you are looking for a respectable and safe office for your child this is the place. Both my daughters have required dental procedures in the past, I have always them to a local place where theyve been going for about 3- 4 years. Getting my girls to sit still is always a challenge, they have a real issue with any medical visit/exam. They absolutely fear going to our usual dentist because of the way they were previously forced and held down. The doctor and staff called it a safe method to do procedures however they actually ended up traumatizing my youngest daughter quite a bit.  At our more recent visit i was told she needs 2 cavities filled (which we were watching for some time). I left their office extremely worried about how my little one may sit still throughout this procedure. I couldnt watch her go through that experience again. After doing some research online and speaking to some colleagues I learned more about sedation options- which our old dentist didnt provide. To make a longer story short- I took them to Growing Smiles, my daughter was seen and had xrays taken. I was told about 2 different methods on how they could proceed. Everything was so well explained. I have never felt more confident before. Their office is well lit, clean, organized and highly professional. My daughter had a very different experience. We were scheduled for laughing gas a short time later. The entire process was so easy and normal! My daughter did not scream and squirm onr bit. I am absolutely thrilled that a dentist is willing to go the extra step to ensure they dont traumatize our kids. Highly highly highly recommend!!

My 5 year old needed quite a bit work done recently. We sought a second opinion as her previous extraction was very traumatic and she did not want to go back again for the rest of her treatment. As a parent its hard enough to get my daughter to go to the dentist especially after being traumatized before and my good friend recommended Dr. Fazilat. When I saw Dr. Fazilat he took the time to explain that their philosophy is to in fact do treatments in the safest and best possible way for children. Due to my childs fearfulness and inability to sit in chair, he provided me with an option of having general anesthesia done, which before this, I never even knew was an option. At first I was reluctant but he assured me that he had another doctor (an anesthesiologist) who always does the procedures with him. As a responsible parent I knew that to save my daughters dental and mental health I would pay a little more and it was definitely worth it. I cant imagine strapping my child down for 1 or 2 hours to fix her teeth. I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and incredible services they offer. I have since left our previous office and bring both my children here.

A chipped tooth fixed beautifully! I was referred to Growing Smiles by a friend who has been taking her kids here for several years. Its the best decision I made for my daughters dental health! Its always a pleasure for me and my daughter to visit Dr. Fazilat and his staff at Growing Smiles. The entire experience from start to end is nothing short of exceptional. This was my second visit so far and definitely will continue to be my daughters dentist. I feel very confident taking my daughter to see Dr. Fazilat for her regular check-ups and cleanings. During this visit they really did a remarkable job making the entire experience both fun for my daughter and professional. Dr. Fazilat and his dental hygienist took the time to explain the treatment and what to expect as they fixed my daughters chipped tooth, which as a parent put me at great ease. The tooth was fixed without any fuss from my daughter. I was very satisfied with the appearance of the tooth as well. I am totally confident in their skills and recommend him for any child who needs a happy and skillful dental experience.

Our 23mo had her first dentist appointment today (recommended by a colleague at work) and it was great experience. The receptionist welcomed her by name as she arrived, the reception area was well stocked with toys, books and video games (was appealing for my husband, too). Our daughter is great in most situations and she felt very comfortable getting into the chair (she even took her shoes off). There was Mickey Mouse playing on the in room screen to distract our LO. The dental assistant explained everything that would be happening during the appointment to us and our LO so she would know what to expect. If she did get uncomfortable during the examination, they offered us different techniques/ways to examine kids teeth without scaring them. The dental assistant also showed our LO how to brush her teeth with a stuffed donkey with oversized teeth and a huge toothbrush... Other pluses are prizes for kids + other freebies and fun incentives like wearing the practices t-shirt to the office and get a prize, referral thank you gift, etc. Cant wait for the next visit!

Wow!!! What an amazing experience. My daughter has always been a bit nervous to visit the dentist. Well Dr. Fazilat and his staff have made a huge impression on her and she is now talking about wanting to be a dentist when she grows up. From the moment we walked in we were in love. They had games, books, and toys to play with in the waiting room. The office is very clean and welcoming. The front desk was extremely friendly and made sure I had all the information I needed. They got her height and weight and then brought us to a back room where we had more privacy and my daughter could get comfortable. They put on her favorite movie and explained everything in kid friendly terms. She was even able to brush a sis spurs teeth and floss. She loves being able to practice. She was able to pick a toy at the end as well. She has been asking me non stop when she gets to go back. What a great office! Thank you Dr. Fazilat :)

My son fell down off his bike and Injured his top teeth. My original dentist was not available and I called growing smiles pediatric dentistry since they had come recommended previously by a friend before who takes their kids to see Dr. Fazilat. They were able to see my child within the morning and put my mind at ease regarding the accident earlier. Dr. Fazilat went over all the possible things that could go wrong in future due to the fall and things that should be done now. Luckily it was baby teeth and not much needed to be done regarding the teeth at this time. He even recommended for my son to go to urgent care if he felt different or dizzy throughout the day in order to check for head trauma just in case. I cant thank him and his great staff for their great care. I will be switching my sons dentist to Dr. Fazilat at his next checkup.

Growing smiles is an awesome place for kids. My 6 year-old son is actually excited to go to the dentist, and thats quite an accomplishment. Dr. Fazilat is highly intelligent and thoughtful as a dentist, and makes sure to explain his work in detail. He takes time to answer questions and set adults at ease that hes taking good care of our children. For the kids, he and his staff have thought of everything, even making note of where my kid left off watching his movie and starting it back at the same spot ... six months later during his next check up! I cant imagine ever going to another pediatric dentist or sending friends anywhere but here. I drive all the way across town even though there are dozens of dentists nearby, just so I can work with him and his staff.
