Well, I was thinking for several years that even though I loved my dentist as a person and loved his staff, I didnt feel that I was likely getting the best dental advise and work. I felt that he was maybe "behind the times". Looking for a new dentist is very difficult and I put it off for way too long. You really need to know somebody who can give you a good referral. I resorted to my community page on Facebook and asked for referrals. I went to a dentist I found on that page, that didnt go so well. So then when I was at my chiropractors office, his dentist came in to get adjusted and he introduced us and highly recommended him. So I made an appointment. It was a bit of a hassle to get the prior dentist I went to (referred on the community page) to send over all of my initial exam records to Dr. Fotinos office, but they eventually sent it. Then we were able to see what was really going on and come up with a plan. Dr. Fotinos now had all my initial exam records and took additional pictures of all my teeth so that I could actually see them and understand the work that I need. He gave me the overall picture of what is needed for me to get all of my teeth into a healthy condition rather than waiting until I needed much more complicated and expensive work. I have some cracked old silver fillings (which I could see in the pictures) that should really be replaced before they become a bigger problem and need root canals and crowns. I have a couple of root canals that need retreats that an endodontist (also referred by my chiropractor) made me aware of along with a crown that needs to be replaced. Neither of the prior dentists even discussed any of this, no wonder I was always at the point of needing root canals rather than taking care of the teeth before letting them get to that point. For the first time in years I feel that my dentist is actually looking at my teeth and making the appropriate recommendations to help me avoid future expensive work. I feel that he is honest and truly cares about the condition of my teeth. After we get this work done I should be able to just get my cleanings and exams and not need much further work because we are being proactive in taking care of them now. I always made sure to go to the dentist and thought I was taking good care of my teeth. But that gut feeling of thinking the dentist was not doing a thorough job was accurate. The staff at Dr. Fotinos office is also very welcoming, kind and friendly. THAT is a HUGE part of going to the dentist and you want to feel comfortable and that you are getting great service from everyone. Thank you Dr. Fotinos and staff, I am grateful that I found you :)

I have not been to the dentist in years and I realized that it was probably time I see a dentist. I did some research and found Dr. Fotinos office on Google, read his reviews, and realized this was the dentist for me! Dr. Fotinos and his staff were beyond incredible. Olga, the receptionist, was fantastic, she was incredibly sweet on the phone when making the appointment and was incredibly helpful in making sure I understood each and every detail of the work needed to be done. The dental hygienist was super nice, gentle, and explained the entire process to me. The dental assistant also did a great job in making sure I understood the x-ray process and was very delicate when taking the x-rays. Dr. Fotinos was really nice, helpful, and explained everything to me in terms that I would understand; which I love!! I am so glad that I went to Dr. Fotinos office, I know that I am in good hands and that Dr. Fotinos and his staff take care of their patients. Thank you to Dr. Fotinos and his amazing staff =]

Im always wary of five-star reviews. Usually theres some ulterior motive, so there needs to be some serious justification for selecting that fifth star. Dr. Fotinos has been my dentist for going on five years now. I drive more than 40 miles from L.A. for my office visits. If youre going to spend that much time in traffic, it had BETTER BE WORTH IT - and it most definitely is. Dr. Fotinos and his staff are professional, kind, compassionate, and thorough. I feel Im in exceptionally qualified hands, and I know that Im being taken care of by people who are genuinely passionate about their work. Whether its a routine cleaning or needing something more advanced, I have always felt comfortable and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Fotinos for anything that requires someone poking sharp metal instruments in your mouth. :)

Okay Ill admit it, I dont floss. Well make that DIDNT. With the possibility of replacing TWO teeth I was not looking forward to my return visit. But Dr Fotinos assured me that we could crown the upper and referred me to an oral surgeon to extract the dead lower tooth. Understanding that money for a retired teacher is tight he suggested a repla$ement or a bridge and said I should talk it over with the surgeon. Dr F. wants the best for you and your mouth, and I appreciated his openness. I just got back form putting the new crown in [twenty minutes!] and told him we would do the extraction beginning of next month. Believe it or not I am looking forward to my next visit. Moral: "be true to your teeth and they wont be false with you."

I had an accident when I was young and my FRONT tooth had to be removed. Your smile/front teeth is in many cases the first impression of you. Ive changed my front tooth for the 4th and LAST TIME at this dentist office. Other dentists have made promises theyve not been able to keep. Dr. Fotinos delivered - he told me. " I can make your smile look beautiful again" and he did. Thank you Dr. Fotinos. All dentist work Ive done is performed to perfection. In addition this is a very clean and friendly dentist office. They make you feel at ease and welcome as soon as you enter their office. My smile have never looked better - I LOVE it.

I have been coming to Dr. Fotinos since he took over from Dr. Fite many years ago. He has been a wonderful dentist to my family. I appreciate the care and time he gives even in an emergency. He makes sure to talk through and explain everything he needs to do before he starts any procedure. He has a very gently touch which makes going to the dentist easy. The staff is great and always a pleasure to talk to. They all do their jobs professionally well and with great care. I have no problem recommending him to anybody that is looking for a dentist. I have been a patient of Dr Fotinos for over 10 years. For the first time in my life, I never dread going to the dentist. Dr Fotinos is a great dentist and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. Everyone treats you more like a friend than just a patient. Over the last several months Ive been using the clear correct treatment to straighten my teeth. I just finished it and couldnt be happier with my results.
