I learned a long time ago that a Physicians Assistant (PA) is just as good as seeing an MD. I chose to see Physican Assistant Scott Goldberg on my first visit because I was asked if I didnt mind seeing a PA being that he was available sooner. I said, "I dont mind AT ALL! I saw Dr. Goldberg and he confirmed what I always thought about PAs that they are AWESOME! He was patient, attentive, listened and was very clear about what he was going to do and then reiterated it while he proceeded with the procedure, making sure I was ok. The coolest thing is that I had to go back just days ago but to his other location because again, I could get in sooner to see him...and not to my surprise he was thorough once again in explaining where the injection would EXACTLY go into and what area I would find relief in, how many days before it would really kick in, how many days I should take the treadmill slow and gently, before I could resume my normal pace, and WHY it is better that I do it this way, what happens if I took it faster to soon. I left their having a better time frame and more exactly when I should really feel the result and affects of the injection. The entire visit was like the "Old Days" when a Dr. gave you time and if he didnt have time, he didnt show it or make you feel like HE was rushing. In the end, if anyone has reservation about seeing a PA, Dr. Scott Goldberg would be the one to see and he will prove you wrong from what you may have heard about PAs not being "A DOCTOR." I say, hesitate NO MORE and you will get in to "See the Doctor" sooner!

This is by far the worst ortho office on the planet. I changed my medical group to get decent treatment. I fell and injured my knee. I was referred to them. For one year I saw PA Kathy Katz. I was refused an MRI and for one year was given opiates. She did an arthrocentesis without numbing my knee. Never did see a doctor. At one point I asked why I couldnt get an MRI and she said no one noted on my chart that it was an injury. I got a lecture from the office manager on her recent inservice on MRIs and why they arent usually necessary. Please dont wait as long as I did. This place is a dangerous place, literally. By the time I found a decent doctor the tendons behind my knee had contracted so much I couldnt come close to straightening my leg which made recovery from my replacement even more painful because everything had to be stretched. Health Care Partners is the most awful group and they have such a monopoly its terrifying. Do anything not to go to this place!!!

Fractured two fingers in a recent Jiu-Jitsu tournament. Was send by my primary Dr. to this facility. First appointment, the wait was over an hour, the room stinks (I told the staff about it) , the Female Dr. was polite but never introduced herself so I dont even know her name, is always in a hurry, little communication and you are just a number, she jumps from office to office giving me less than 5 minutes of her time. She did not answer my questions neither explained anything about my injure. First visit I show her my finger was not straight, she didnt seem to care, second visit, I ask her if my finger will be straight, her answer "maybe, maybe not" Not a good Dr. in my belief. In searching the web I found out her name is Dr. Billings. What a good business for them, terrible for a human that wants compassionate care. This is a factory not a care facility.

This is a horrible doctors office. I usually wait at least an hour and recently waited an hour and twenty minutes past my appointment time. I have to call them back to make sure they write the referrrels as they dont. Recently I have needed surgery for a meniscus tear and finanly saw the ortho doctir after two months through the system. He said yes lets schedule surgery. I called back a week later to check up on the referrel. They hadn;t written it. The girl said Dr. Gellers notes indicated no surgery was needed at this time and we were to wairt and see. Some of the best ortho guys around are down the street but Im restricted by the HMO. As few good doctors will take these minisule HMO payouts, places like the OrthoCenter become impacted. I go better medical care living in Honduras. It was a fraction of the price too.

Possibly the worst run medical office on the planet... not exaggerating. The doctors are great if you can get to see them or the PA. Getting through the hellacious phone system is crazy enough but then once you get to a person they have no idea why anything is happening in the office. I have repeatedly spoken to multiple people in the office including the manager who swear they will call me back and nothing happens. They repeatedly put in the wrong prescription info which means you never are able to get your prescription. Ive been waiting 3 months for mine. If I had a choice I would never come back or refer anyone here.

Worst doctors office ever. After paying 15 dollars for a piece of paper report that I need to join the military, they said it would take two weeks, which sucks but I guess I can understand the wait, now its been three weeks and they still dont have the paper that I PAID for. When I asked why dont they have it yet they said because someone is sick and they have to replace them or something. Terribly managed place. The worst part is that you cant even talk to anyone over the phone you HAVE to go there to ask anyone anything because no one there knows what the hell is going on this place is a waste of time at best.

Last year my primary MD was allowed by Healthcare Partners to refer me to the orthopedic medical treatments I need. Now HCP has put this company between me and necessary medical services. Now Orthocenter is the Gatekeeper for my referrals. Its been 3 months since they were supposed to put in the referral. (They lost it.) Today, finally, the supervisor gave me an expedited referral. Im glad to see they are capable of doing what theyre being paid for. Availability via phone was very sub-standard. Also, there are inaccuracies on their website.

I first came to the Ortho Center over a year ago for a torn rotator cuff. I had only the very best experience. The doctors and the PAs are fabulous. My surgery was May 2011. Scars invisible. Completely recovered by February 2012. Now a knee injury sends me back. Fabulous PA injected both knees last week. Painless. Swelling almost gone the next day. I have never experienced anything but great service from the front desk as well as the radiology staff. The hospital staff loves them too. I give them fabulous ratings.

This group stinks! HCP referred me to them and I do not want to go to them. I have asked them for a referral to the Risser Group and they keep avoiding me and refusing to return my calls. Their pleasant receptionist keeps telling me that her supervisor tells me it is their responsibility to keep track of my condition because I was referred to them. So I cannot go to the doctor I want to see at the Risser Group. Ive already had one botched operation and I dont want another!
