My experience with EPAH started when my dog was going to have to have hip surgery with a different vet . He "dropped the ball" and my daughter took me to EPAH. I was told my dog wasnt going to get her hip surgery because a terminal cancer was found. What a devastating thing it would have been to have that surgery and never recover from it and not know why. My Bella is a 6 & 1/2 yr old Pit Bull that amazes people with her sweet personality. The staff at EPAH recognized that in her too and it was heartwarming to see the way they treated her. Bella is still here with me (6 months later) and doing really good, Everyone at EPAH are always sypathetic and patient whenever I call, even when Im in a panic. Great people, great medicine, great bedside manner!!

I have taken all my animals to EPAH for over 20 years. Dr. Dave, his associates and office staff are top notch as is the care that all my dogs and cats have received. I have always trusted the suggestions and courses of action that were advised by these amazing people. I would recommend EPAH to anyone whose " furr-babies" are in need of a knowledgeable, kind and caring vet.

our dog had a stomach problem and they thought it was an acidity issue, prescribed tons of medication even though we later found out all he had was car sickness and just needed to give him ginger products. our dog had a heart problem and the vet did not acknowledge possible disease from a bird he had eaten earlier, simply didnt know what to do. too late.

New to East Petaluma Animal hospital, my vet retired and I needed a vet for my parrot Willie. The office staff is warm and friendly and Willie likes conversing with them. Dr. Rupiper is great, very involved with the care and well being of Willie. I highly recommend this Animal hospital.

Although my cat may not be quite as enthusiastic about trips to the vet as we are, there is no place - and no other vet - we would entrust her care to! They take excellent care of her and we always feel like one of the family. We would give them even more stars if it were an option!!

Dr. Rupiper is the best avian vet period. His knowledge base will knock your socks off and hell save your birds life. His expertise and skill are just superb. We bring our birds from Oregon to see him; hes that good.

The whole team is educated, kind, and caring. Both Doctors are very sweet, and will spend the time with you to give advice or answer any questions you may have. I love this office and highly recommend them. Wendy.

Never ever will I recommend this horrible man to treat anyones family pet. I had to give a star to rate him he deserves none. Because I took the cat to my Vet in Sonoma for a second opinion he alive and healthy!
