I have always had an issue with my teeth due to my overbite and I had a crown put on. The tooth always bothered me. The crown was rubbing between teeth and you can clearly see a gap between the crown and gum. I had delayed replacing a crown for several years before l could find a dentist I could trust. Over the years, I have been to many different dentists and none of them can fix it the way I want. I was told by other dentist that the tooth needed to be extracted and I needed an implant and crown. I was not very happy with the thought of loosing a tooth. I did a lot of research and I finally found Dr. Aimin Liu and his staff. They did a wonderful job and the procedure was the best dental experience I have ever had (also completely painless)! Dr. Liu is very knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to listen and address all of my questions and consult with me individually when we discussed my crown issue. He recommended the most conservative approach for me. He has never rushed me into making any decisions and He is extremely conscientious and detailed in his work. He is only satisfied with the very best and thinks in the best interest of the patient. Before the procedure, Dr. Liu diagnosed my tooth using digital X-ray and explained the procedure in detail. I have always been afraid of the needle but the procedure was truly pain free and fast. He applies anesthetic gel on my gum and then the local anesthetic is injected. I did not feel any pain during the whole procedure. Once we started, he kept asking how I was doing and explaining what was the next step. It really helped me to calm down. The whole procedure only took less than 20 minutes to complete and he put on a temporary crown while he made my porcelain crown. After the procedure I was a little sore just where the injection was which he told me may be the case. After 3 days, my crown was ready. After Dr. Liu placed the new crown, I was so happy. It perfectly sits between my teeth, not too high, not too low and there is no gap between the crown and gum. They have various payment options and fair pricing. Dr. Lius team made sure I was comfortable prior to scheduling the appointment. His office is great at returning calls and making sure paperwork is done quickly and timely. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist for their dental needs or even for a second opinion. He listens, and makes you feel comforted. There is no question too small and you are not an inconvenience to him. Overall, Dr. Liu is the best dentist Ive had. Great professional service in an outstanding environment, totally painless, efficient, and high tech! He is an amazing doctor. I cant say enough good about him.

This dental office is so unprofessional. The doc either didnt provide enough training to their tech, or he didnt hire someone with proper training. I went to see Dr. Liu for toothache, he ordered a x-ray for me. I mentioned I am 15 weeks pregnant, want to avoid as much unneeded x-ray as possible. He agreed. Here comes the nightmare. I dont think the tech knows what she is doing. She shoot totally 4 x-rays for me. It supposed to be the upper tooth, but after the first x-ray, she said it is the lower part right? I corrected her, then she said she would need to shoot another one. I asked her why and questioned her whether she shoot the wrong tooth, she totally denied. She said she just need another view. I can read the simple x-ray, after I saw the x-ray, I knew she lied to me. The first x-ray she took was the good tooth. The second x-ray was the right one. The third x-ray suppose to be the different view, but it was so blurry, the doc had to ask someone else to shoot the 4th one for me. I am so mad about their service. I told I am pregnant, the doc still let someone who doesnt know how to perform x-ray to do this for me. I could avoid so many x-rays. What the tech had done is unprofessional. First, she didnt take the right order. Second, she did something wrong, but didnt want to admit it. The good doc should not hire this kind of employee for him. I wont recommend this office to my family and friend.

Dr. Liu and his entire staff are great. I have consulted with Dr. Liu for dental lmplant in 2005 and he has taken on a great challenge to give me a new set of teeth. Due to my extremely rare condition of missing teeth, the implant took many years of planning bone graft and braces. Finally when all the hard work is done, the final result is amazing. Im entirely satisfied with the way the implants turned out and really appreciate Dr. Lius dedication through all this time. It was different at times as the procedures and my circumstances were challenging to work with; but Dr. Liu was always meticulous and made his vision become a reality. Thanks to his professionlism and unyielding support. My teeth are now fully restored, looking natural and beautiful! Many thanks!

I switched to Dr. Liu as my family dentist when his new Pleasanton office opened a couple years ago. Im so glad that I made this wise decision! Not only the new office is nice, clean and close to my house, but also the equipment are modern and advanced. Most important is that their service is great! Dr. Liu always very patiently and thoroughly explains the treatment and procedures to me. He likes to educate patients on dental disease prevention. The receptionist, assistants are all very friendly, make me feels like one of the family. They try their best to make flexible schedules to meet my needs. Im so thankful for their help! I highly recommend anyone looking for a dentist to try Dr. Liu out.
