Dr. Azouz is amazing! I left my other dentist because his technique is failing. Ive been in pain for over a year and have complete sensitivity to hot and cold. I have Fibromyalgia and Dr. Azouz was recommended to me to have my mercury fillings replaced. I was very hesitant because of the my previously horrible experience having the fillings on the left side of my mouth replaced. However, my rheumatologist encouraged me greatly to see Dr. Azouz. So, I went and had Dr. Azouz replace the fillings on the right side of my mouth (3) and the 3 cavities he found on my previous visit... from eating only on the right side of my mouth for the past year due to the pain on the left side. While I was there... the chair was bothering my back and he quickly grabbed a pillow for under my knees and a foam pad for under my neck. Sensing my stress he went and turned on Enya to calm my nerves. As he began, the cold water aggravated my teeth sensitivity and again Dr. Azouz had a solution... dental wax. It worked great! Everything went so smoothly. I came home and was only sore four about 12 hours or less. Then, a couple weeks later, a piece of one of the fillings in the left side of my mouth fell out. This filing was put in by my previous dentist. So, I called Dr. Azouz for the rescue. They got me in within a couple days and even found a 90 min window when I asked if he could just redo all those fillings on the left side of my mouth done by my previous dentist... since they have done nothing this past year but cause me pain and grief. At my appt we discussed my insurance... which was closed on the east coast due to weather. Ugh! But Dr. Azouz and his staff were clear on all my payment options upfront. As soon as I made my decision, Dr. Azouz got to work and continued to squeeze me in his schedule that day to fix the tooth with the broken filling and also replace one other filling on the bottom. I still have three more fillings to replace on the top, which Im waiting for approval from insurance. But rest assured... once the insurance is taken care of... I WILL be returning to Dr. Azouz to have them replaced a third and final time due to them being replaced the second time incorrectly. Dr. Azouz staff is wonderful. I had my teeth cleaned there on my first visit. His hygienist is fabulous. They also offer a lazer cleaning if you want to try it to help sensitivity. It seemed to work some... not over the top for me but my teeth are REALLY sensitive. I might try it again. Oh and I failed to mention Dr. Azouz found a remaining mercury filling piece, left from my previous dentist, in the filling being replaced... and also a cavity under the filling that was not previously cleaned out. A bonus is Dr. Azouz cleans your tooth with an antibacterial cleaner before he puts the filling in. I really liked this. Dr. Azouz is funny and a very personable guy. I highly recommend him to anyone... especially anyone with Fibromyalgia or similar that need special precautions taken to prevent more exposure to mercury, etc. I just wish he was closer. Im in Cameron Park so its about a 30 - 40 min drive depending on the traffic. They do have coffee available for those who drink coffee. I dont... but thought that was nice.

I recently read the reviews for this Dentist office and seen that the actual Dentist had really good reviews.I had first called and spoke with Meg who was extremely rude and had no desire to help me when I informed her I was a new patient and had just submitted my information over from my open enrollment meeting. I then called again on 6/27/17 to schedule an appointment for my husband and spoke with Courtney who was a little bit nicer, but not really I informed her that I did NOT have my insurance cards and that it would take 7-10 business days, but when my husband came in he would bring the card or I would fax it over. She confirmed this would be okay. Within the same day my husband was called and asked about the cards and called twice again today about the insurance cards. After the second call and Meg informing him I never called in and spoke with anybody about this he was done with the service as well as myself. I then called Meg and informed her to please cancel the appointment because we felt that they were rude and they obviously were not communicating with each other. Meg did not apologize or even try to save us as patients and said okay no problem have a good day. HONESTLY IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD, I CANT IMAGINE MEG AND COURTNEYS JOB IS THAT HARD, BUT THEIR ATTITUDES ARE HORRIBLE. Please read the other reviews on this office, although they do say the actual Dentist is awesome the other reviews confirm that the women in the from are rude, which is the TRUTH!!

Hi, I just finished my first appointment with Serenity Dental and I am completely blown away by the service. The atmosphere is bright and friendly, which puts you at ease right away. Today I had a root canal, 3 fillings and an extraction (a ton of work) and Dr. Azouz could not have been more wonderful. He constantly made sure I was comfortable, and took the time to explain what he was doing as he went along. Richard is equally amazing. Incredibly friendly, with a sense of humor and level of concern that will make you feel like youre chatting with a long lost friend. He will also bend over backwards to help you with insurance issues to help pay for services in an affordable way. The assistants that work in the office (I apologize, but I only remember Stephanies name at the moment) are always there for you. There was another assistant that did a majority of the work with Dr. Azouz that was really friendly. Finally, there was a very sweet lady who made sure I wasnt hurting too much and that I had just the right amount of novacane. We are putting a treatment plan together to get my smile back to where it should be, and I am actually looking forward to going back to get the work done. How many dentists can you say that about? If youre looking for a new dentist (or havent been to one in years, like me), do yourself a favor and give Dr. Azouz and his team a call. Youll be very glad you did!

I dont tend to write a "perfect 5" but Serenity Dental and Dr. Azouz, well... to put it frankly are top notch. I had a bad experience as a kid with dental procedures, and few years back an incompetent dentist, gave me a root canal and put the wrong piece in and cemented it up. (Imagine needing a small metal post for a root canal, and then after collapsing your root, another dentist tells you that they put a gigantic plastic piece in instead, fun). I have been coming to Dr. Azouz and his associates, and let me tell you something. I have had a dentist that did everything wrong, and everything to scare you into more. BUT, Dr. Azouz, and his team are solid, when I say solid, I mean SOLID. I swear by Dr. Azouz, and I see bad reviews on google and yelp for this awesome young doctor, and it amazes and pisses me off. I will be the first to say, that he will tell you exactly what is happening with your teeth, and help you fix whatever you need, with ABSOLUTE perfection. If you are looking for a competent and superb dentist to work on your teeth, Azouz is THEE guy. And for the people that bash him, really think to yourselves, are you being honest on google and yelp or are you looking to bash him as a person? His perfectionism amazes and makes it extremely comfortable to be in his chair. But please dont take my word for it, go see for yourself. I stand by my word. Aaron Beadles
