I came here after searching for a place that was affordable AND had expertise in tooth implants (since insurance doesnt cover this procedure, I could pick wherever I wanted). I was hounded by tons of other offices that were ridiculously priced as well as a few that were slightly cheaper, and I was curious as to why there was such a fluctuation in prices for this procedure. After doing additional research online, I went into Southland Dental and consulted with the lady who works in the office first to compare another place I was considering at a cheaper price. She gave me the break down on what they provide when it comes to implants, and suggested that I ask the other dental office questions on this checklist to ensure that they were providing the same quality. Turns out, the other dentist had only taken a weekend course to get certified and the type of tooth that they were going to put in my mouth was a far cheaper material alongside other unpleasant details once I did tons of research online. 5 stars for Southland Dental Care because they have a friendly and bright atmosphere from the second you walk in and the customer service and dental work I received was top notch. My insurance is switching over on the 1st of February, and Southland Dental will be the first place I go! Thank you guys for everything!

Dear Dr. Hanookai, Thank you so much for doing such an incredible job with the surgery yesterday. I am totally amazed at how good I feel! Havent even taken one of the pain pills!!!! You, Dr. Abaian, and your entire staff are a class act! The implants I received a few months back are just wonderful - absolutely no problems!! And... Dr. Abaian was so careful and wanted an exact fit when he did another procedure, a crown, that he sent it back to the lab about four times. His engineering background sure is a gigantic plus! Each one on your team make it such a relaxing, stress-free environment - one knows they are in good hands when they come through your doors! Not only are you incredibly skilled in your field, but as human beings youre warm, caring and tremendous people. Im so, so glad I found you. I would refer you to any and to all! After living in Los Angeles for a few years, Ive finally decided to find a dentist in the area when my wisdom teeth started giving me trouble. I was very nervous about the process, but the staff at Southland Dental made it very easy and worry-free. They answered any questions I had and addressed all my concerns about the procedure. They checked in with me the day after, and showed they cared about my recovery. I never had any dental work other than a routine cleaning before so during my recovery I got worried the healing process, and whenever I had a concern the staff were happy to help. Dr. Hanookai even answered questions I had over the weekend, when their offices were closed. All in all, the staff and experience was great. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in the area looking for any work done.

I am beyond impressed with Dr. Delaram Hanookai! I have been coming to this office for the past 5 years and honestly every time I come I leave happier than before. I am not exactly your typical poster child for great teeth, however in the past 5 years Dr. Hanookai and Dr. Abaian have taken great care of my dental heath and I couldnt be happier. My 11 year old son has started to see them and just today he told me "Mommy, now I know what you mean when say you cant go anywhere else!" I hardly ever write reviews, however when my son said that I made the time to leave a review. If your looking for an amazing dental group, look nowhere else.

I am so very lucky to have found Southland Dental. My experience with them the last 6 years has been only positive. I have had almost all dental work that you can imagine done here. From receding gum surgery with dr. Hanuki , small filing ,cleanings done every 3 months with the greatest dental hygienist , and All ceramic cosmetic crowns done by the amazing Dr Abain. Lets not forget the very caring dental assistants. They are all amazing and make you feel very comfortable. Love the great service from the front desk and the reminders that they send you for appointments. I would highly recommend Southland Dental

The team is by far the friendliest and most welcoming dental team I have ever experienced. I love the entire staff - starting with Marcella who envisioned the potential of doing business together. Adrian - who so patiently whitened my teeth - and was there within a push of a button when I needed hand-holding. Dr. Hanookai + Dr. Abaian are an incredibly warm and knowledgeable couple - so much so, that they are now our official Dating Ready Dental Team. They are thorough and take into consideration both dental health + aesthetics - in that order. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and professionalism!

Staff was friendly, but the dentist pressured me (after they had removed my temporary crown mind you) to get a special crown not covered by my insurance, claiming it would last much longer. Six months later the crown fell out. When I went to get it replaced they said I needed the OTHER crown. The one that would have been covered by insurance. Only now I had no insurance so it cost another few hundred dollars. All in all $1800 for a crown that should have cost me nothing more than a $300 co-pay. Never been so frustrated.

I dont usually write reviews, however I felt this was a good opportunity to add value to a great dentist I came in with a sore tooth and Dr.Hanookai informed me that I needed a root canal. I had my root canal and crown done by Dr. Abaian it was a comfortable and painless process. They took great care to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care off. The staff was warm and welcoming they where great. I will definitely recommend southland dental to anyone that is looking for a dentist you will not be disappointed.

Southland Dental was a great find and right in my own neighborhood. Its great not having to drive across town to get the care that I need. I have pain sensitivity issues with some of my back teeth and Dr. Hanookai and staff went the extra mile on my very first visit to select and adjust the required medications so I could get through several surgical procedures relatively pain free. I dont have to pay for anesthesia (and the anesthesiologist!) anymore. Professional and friendly service second to none in the area.

I have been a patient of Southland Dental for over 12 years. Dr. Mike and his staff have changed my old fillings, repaired old dental work, kept my teeth clean and brightened my smile. Eight years ago, he replaced my old partial with a beautiful bridge which looks as good now as it did on day one. Also, Dr. Hanookai’s periodontal work on my gums was quick and practically painless. I could not be happier with these great doctors and their caring and professional staff.

Please, do not go to this dentist. I have to have 15 new teeth fixed after he messed them up when I went in for a simple bridge. Office is like a three ring circus. Dont let Dr Abians charming smile and friendly chatter get you. He will promise you the moon, hell barely see you ( Jen RDA does everything) and then you will not get a beautiful smile. $18,000 later and Im having to get my teeth redone. This is one of those horror stories you hear about.
